Evidence Against torture from Qur'an and Sunnah

Assalamou Alikom Wrahmatou Allah dear brothers and sisters,

Could you please help me gather all possible evidence from Qur'an and Sunnah that Islam prohibits torture. I did a quick search using TTI research engine and I could not find any related topics. It seems that no such topics exists or have been discussed here before.

In a nutshell torture is not acceptable. This is different from punishment i.e Sharia.
