:salam2: brothers and sisters, I hope this reaches you in the best of health/imaan!

There are alot of poems on here about the ideal muslim wife, and I thought as a sister I might give it a shot for the husband as well so here we go.....:

See I never met you, but I feel my heart beat with yours
days come and go insha'Allaah you'll be the one to wipe off my tears
in our days together, we shall live in tranquility
closely held, sitting side by side as we recite the Qur'an with clearity
you shall wake me up for tahajud and lead me in prayer
and I shall stand by you while your recitation I admire

together we'll struggle with Dunya
taking on beautiful Kunya
Like servants of Allaah
Or seekers of Jannah

you'll be the source of my comfort
I'll be the coolness of your heart
You'll be my hero, my beautiful knight
I'll be your wife one full of joy and delight

We'll take late summer night walks
As we whisper love talks
We'll play in the rain
and maybe ride a wonderful train

You'll be my role model
I'll be your hoor-al-ain
With bad and good we shall remain patient
Whatever the world throws at us, we shall forever thank our Lord for He alone is sufficient
And Insha'Allaah we'll lead a life of righteousness
In our Jihad with Shaytan and the world's wickedness

[helpinghumanity]

Assalamo alaikum sister,

I was making last minutes plans/arrangements for tomorrow to have a "get together" with MSO CCNY friends before the event ""☆The Shaded Seven☆" by Yusuf Estes. We were arranging activities such as handball, pool, bowling etc.

While doing so, I thought in my mind to have a glimpse at TTI. Mashallah I saw your post. This was so nice that I was forced to log in and reply.

Allah has blessed you with an awesome talent of writing poem. Keep them up coming frequently.

I love shaikh Yusuf Estes...he has a very nice sense of humor and makes you lectures fun and beneficial at the same time. Which I think makes the youth pay more attention. So may Allaah make it benefical for those who come to it.
