Help me figure out this symbol in Quran

Asslamu alaikum

I was reading ( more like listening) to the Quran today and I notice this symbol like a star appear before a particular ayat. The surah I was reading or listening to was 11 surah Ah HUD and the smybol appear before ayah 6. I have also seen this symbol in surah 100 adiyah before ayah 9. Please help me.

Hmmm... Good question. I actually thought that it was a change to another Juz. Like surah Hud:6, the "star" appear whereby its a change to Juz 12. But then, when I browse through the other surahs, it didn't appear ("star") although its a change of Juz.

Anyone have any idea to this?

According to my knowledge, (please correct me if I'm wrong),The first star you have mentioned in surah Huud, indicates the beginning of a Juzz, and the second, indicates the start of a new Hizb(half a juzz).

It says if it's a juzz or a Hizb, under the Star,
I hope you guys know I'm talking about the Saudi style Mushafs. I dont know about the others.
