How to create new logo?

:salam2: dear brothers and sisters. Hope you are in good state of Imaan and health. I am planning to create website for our local mosque and I need to create logo for it somewhat similar to TTI. Are there in free softwares available for creating images/logos. If so, can you suggest me some names?

i also make websites and i work with graphics too. if you want a free software for that Gimp is the best. its kind better than some expansive programs. here is the links
