Knowledge and wisdom are indispensible part of religion of Islam. In fact, it is obligatory for every Muslim man and woman to acquire knowledge despite of all difficulties. Allah Almighty describes the importance of knowledge in following words in Holy Quran,

"Are those equal, those who know, and those who do not know?” (39:9)

Furthermore, the very first verse that was revealed on Holy Prophet (PBUH) says,

“Proclaim! (or Read!) in the name of thy Lord and Cherisher, Who created―” (96:1)

Moreover, Prophet (PBUH) says in his Hadith,

“Whoever treads a path seeking knowledge, Allah will make easy for him the path to Paradise” (Ibne Majah)

Learn useful knowledge:

Islam tells Muslims to seek knowledge that is beneficial to an individual as well to as to the entire society. Furthermore, Islam forbids its followers to learn a subject or an art unless it is not useful for Muslims in particular and for rest of the world in general.
In this regard, it is important to find such sources that offer authentic Islamic and worldly knowledge as Muslims are bound to learn both these things to succeed in this world as well as in the world hereafter. For mundane knowledge, Muslims can join any reputable university or educational institution. As far as Islamic wisdom is concerned, a person needs to find authentic Islamic institutions or Quran teacher who is well versed and reliable.
