Asalamu 'Alaykuum,
This is my latest poem, once again it is "free verse" meaning it does not rhyme. I just composed it now, so yeah, here you go:
NOTE: Saadiqin=truthful, Kalah=no/never, La Tashtaqin=Do not complain.
"La Tayass"

In a time where the oppressor is seen as a saviour,
In a time where the truth is curbed to the side.
I shall stand high above all my barriers,
Above all those who try to destroy my honour.
Blood gushing from my head doesn’t faze my prosperity,
Through the times of oppression and torture I shall continue my quest.
The honourable word flowing through my heart,
Telling me to be patient for I shall not cry in the end.
As Allah, the Merciful, is my Greatest witness,
My heart is an arrow through the faces of kufur.
The cries of my brothers will never let me rest,
Until the sword is drawn back into its resting place.
The prisons of darkness are filled with musk,
Each Muslim within them patient and firm.
The eyes of the cowards shall never close,
Knowing the truth is out there and will soon prevail.
In a time where the oppressor is seen as a saviour,
The one who is oppressed shall have the Lord on their side.
Head bowed down in prostration to Him,
Supplicating and hoping for the blessings of the All-Mighty.
Brushing the dust out of my scented mane,
The growl of the Ummah will once again shake.
Shake the thrones of the oppressive “saviours”,
Allowing peace to come back to our battered lands.
My sister in Islam know that your violation is heard,
Allah the All-Hearer knows of your pain.
Your tears of violation shall flow through the minds,
The minds of the brothers who will stand up for your honour.
O orphan child wipe those tears from your eyes,
For you’re not alone in this dreaded world.
Allah the All-Seer knows of your loneliness,
As the cowardice animals continue to mistreat you.
In a time where the oppressor is seen as a saviour,
Your shackles of hatred will never hold me down.
The pain and oppression I face every day,
Is rewarded with paradise, the final destination.
O friend of Hell! Know that your crimes shall be seen,
Against the physically weak and against the Saadiqin.
Inside of you is fear that feasts on your soul,
Thinking that murdering the innocent will make it go away.
Kalah! What a fool, for your burying yourself,
With each victim a witness against you on the Day of Reckoning.
Have your petty time on this corrupted land,
But what shall you say in front of “the King of the Day”?
O my brother they may mistreat you,
But even if they mock you and continue to oppress you,
Don’t submit to their destructive desires,
For the remembrance of Allah will ease your pain.
You are a stranger, who stands out like a star,
Shining in the darkness that is constantly around you.
With the utterance of the Shahada you receive a beating,
But stay firm to these words and your status shall grow.
The taste of blood in my shattered mouth,
Is the taste of steadfastness as I smile in your face.
Each strike I receive only strengthens my heart,
As I continue to remember Him my morale continues to grow.
The circle of brothers will never be broken,
As each one hastens to help another brother.
Firm in their belief of receiving the greatest reward,
The reward of Ferdose, a place like no other.
The souls of the believers shall fly like birds,
Angels competing over who will take it to their Lord.
Would one be foolish to give this up?
Or stay strong and be among the dwellers of Jannah.
Let those who try to destroy your hope,
See your faith in Allah the Merciful, the Greatest.
Even if they destroy everything you have,
La Tashtaqin for your reward is great.
