Music In Islam !

Assalamualaikum Brothers and Sisters..
By ALLAH'S (SWT) grace, i have been turning into a better muslim daily.
Im learning about our religion and want to know more.
After reading many threads posted on this site, i have a question to ask.
" Are Sami Yusuf's Nasheeds Haram"?
What kind of music is forbidden in islam ?

This question is important to me, because sami yusuf's nasheeds have alwayz brought me closer to ISLAM. They instill a sense of greater love in me for almighty and prophet muhammad(PBUH).\

And also what about those songs, which have good meaning ?

Nasheed is fine, but the problem is with the use of musical instruments... except the daff, no other musical instrument is allowed...

Music is prohibited. Yes.

Songs without music are alright. Because you will concentrate what is said in that.

Music will deviate you from the meaning of songs.
Music is whispers of IBLEES indeed.
