Its very important to understand Arabic. Most of us just read the Quran and never understand it. Translation can never produce the same effect, Translation is the work of a man and Quran is the work of GOd, so there can be no comparison. Also next time you read some beautiful poetry try to translate it and see if it produces the same effect.

as it breaks it down well. They have good quiz's as well. Also the entire Qurans

vocabulary is broken down here - http://www.understandquran.com/dictionary/dictionary/english.html

and also on allahsquran.com or quranexplorer.com. Its much easier than English for sure
