Salam,
I am sure you all have heard about the failed terror attack that was done by a Nigerian Muslim boy right. I have to say I am extremely sad after reading the news. I was reading the news on CNN online, and I just cannot stand the comments written by people. They were keep on mocking Islam and Muslims. Saying that all Muslims are to one to be blamed and bla bla bla. I am just sick of everyone having bad impression about Islam and Muslims when they know nothing about it. But then again, it is not entirely their fault. It is the media. Some of my friends including myself read and listen to News channels like bbc and cnn because these channels are the most popular and informative news channel. These channels for god knows reason why has to convey negative comments on Islam!!:angryred::angryred:
For instance that day, my very good christian friend was teasing about how Muslim men can marry four wives and how he wish he could do the same. The I told him, well you can't simply marry four women at once. There are certain rules and regulations that you ought to follow and you need to have appropriate reasons. Then he said, what? since when? that's new. I've never heard such thing. Don't simply come up with stories!!:angryred::angryred:
Finally, I had to ask another muslim friend of mine to explain to him only then he kept quiet but even so I know he don't believe us because he already has this impression that everything about Islam is WRONG WRONG WRONG!
This is just one of my experience. I've encountered a lot more!
Well, what I am trying to say is. It is very sad.Very very sad to see the name of Islam and Muslims just go down the drain so easily. I just wish I could stop this. May Allah show us the way.

i could not digest more news about oppression, anti-muslim, etc. i feel much better now and can concentrate on Allah and hereafter more.
