On Repentance.

I have a question on repentance. Prior to my performing umrah, i have met two friends who asked if i am not afraid to perform umrah because they said their sins are too much. And they fear they will receive their punishment from Allah s.a.w. in Makkah. Alhamdulillah i have performed my umrah and i told my friends that Allah is Most Forgiving for all our sins if we repent sincerely, InsyaAllah. What the Quran says about repentance ?
