orniments

are we allowed orniments in the house......
what is the ruling on this.

I hung on the wall some ornaments such as surah embroidered in gold thread, as well as the 99 names of Allah in arabic.

Are you referring to these?

i mean the objects you put on the side cabbnet to decoract...

yes you are, however its preferable to avoid those objects which resemble animal/human beings. Take this opportunity to study islam art which is based on decorating using 3 forms 1) geometric shapes and repeating patterns 2) quran calligraphy 3) plant patterns. Im sure you could come up with your own designs.
