I have heard that its not allowed to get paid for leading Taraweeh, not saying that imams shouldnt have a salary but about incidents where person x flies down from Saudi and demands or is paid regardless eg 10k dollars. As i have heard that you cant sell the Quran. Most of the masjids do that where they pay a large sum to fly people down from elsewhere. I heard such a salt is not accepted but couldnt find any proof to this.
