Salam in Islam

Asalamu alaikum dear brothers and sisters--today makes 13 weeks since I converted to Islam. I have been reading several good books sent to me from Saudi Arabia and Egypt. I still have to use the guide book to perform my salat-although I am trying to memorize them. I have a good Muslim brother at work and we fellowship together and encourage one another. I have felt very happy and peaceful since converting. I would like to encourage other new converts to stay strong and steadfast in the faith.
