I wanted to ask dearest brothers and sisters what the correct ruling is on changing your name. Let me make myself clear so as to avoid confusion, im unmarried and would like to make an addition to my name for instance

hafsa ahmed

i would like to add a middle name ( thats not my name by the way just an example)

so it would be something like

hafsa hasna ahmed......................

is this permissible for me to do?????

would brothers and sister kindly refrain from opinions

I don't think you need to worry about it. Changing your name isn't a sin. And Allaah knows best.

do you know if this is my right, if i want to do it as i dont plan on changing the name my parents gave me i just want to add to it...........................

The only thing forbidden in islam is changing your lineage or your father's name. As long as it is only your name, then it's yours to do with as you please.
