As-Salaam alaikum,
Says the Noble Messenger of Allah, Sallallahu alaihi Wasallam, about his companion, Sayyadi Abu Bakr Siddiq, may Allah be pleased with him:--
"Love of Abu Bakr and gratitude to him are a duty on everyone of my Ummah."- Suyuti in his book-"The History of The Khalifas."-page 47
The Prophet, alaihi-Salatu Wassalam, also said: " Abu Bakr, you are the one whom Allah has freed from the hell fire." [Tirmidhi-3679].
