The Hidden Gift
With the utmost yakeen, towards jennah we must sway;
in constant realization of the account to be given on the Last Day
Purifying our souls, renewing our Iman, seeking to be of those who will glow
in return of well done righteous deeds, raised to thrones of dignity, amongst gardens beneath which rivers flow
knowledge of jennah, al ghaib, is based on belief
after traveling on a journey in duniya, it is a dwelling of relief
those who seek Allah’s presence, face, and pleasure, hold hearts of devotion
strive in Allah’s way in submission, regardless of any materialistic commotion
Garments of silk will they be adorned with, bracelets of gold and beauty
marked as dwellers in gardens of eternity, in a promised life of immortality
green cushions, beautiful carpets, raised couches encrusted with gold and precious stone,
all for the successful ones, forgiven by Allah; of those who worked in lending to Allah a beautiful loan
clear flowing fountains, precious mates, fruits appearing wherever they may lay
glad to be forgiven, saved from hell fire, and entered into jennah, they will say
“praise to Allah who made the sadness go away “
the ones guided by light with brightly lit and radiant faces, gazing at their Lord
hearing the call to peace unto them, seeing for whom all actions were done,
enjoying the ultimate reward.
Jennah is surrounded by hardships while Jehennam is surrounded by that which we may lust or desire
the temporary life is a question for eternal fun, which will we choose, the ease of paradise or the difficulties of the fire?
True entertainment is in obedience to our lord and sweetness of emaan which we must work to lift,by adapting the qualities of those promised and blessed with Allah’s mercy, Jennah---His hidden gift.
The gift of that which no eyes, ears nor minds have ever seen, heard, or imagined before; for Jennah is beyond what we can comprehend;
It is what we are hurrying to build up by faith and action,
nearness to Allah in akhirah, our preparation,---for when we meet this life’s end.
