UK Muslims >Islamic speakers?

Asalamu alaikum wa rahmatullah wa barakatu

I am holding a charity event for an Islamic charity and I need to raise £1000.
I am hoping to organise an event or small gathering for the sisters in my area, but I want a few islamic speakers to come and give a lecture/talk.

I really wanted to the convert speakers to be female converts, and they just come and share their story. Does anybody know any speaker that gives lecture or talks? or where I could find their contact details?

If not female, does anybody know of any lecturer or speaker and where I could find them?

Please help!

I dont know about Female revert speaker, but you can take a look fro sister Zohra Sarwari. she is not a revert. but you can try: Yvonne Ridley, dont know much about her. I mean either she speaks or not.b I've seen her some interview, but her story is interesting.

go to muslimwomanspeaker(dot)com, then click contact
more you can go to islamevents(dot)com, then click speakers, find your speaker and click in the name then you'll find a page about him, you'll find a tab 'booking' from the left. click to check the calender and procedure to book them!

You can contact the Islamic council in your country
for advice on the whole of the event together about
how to obtain the special speakers that you require.
They will provide you help .Insyaállah.
