Friday prayer doesn't have to be done in a mosque (only because I have a wild schedule). As long as there is a sufficient amount of brothers, one can give a khutba and then lead the prayer. I take college courses, and sometimes I group with brothers and we pray on Fridays.
I just found out that one of the brothers, who usually gives the khutba and leads the Friday prayer is in a picture that is apparently taking place in a bar, and he's holding up some alcoholic beverage, as it seems.
I'm not going to judge him. But assuming we have no choice but to group up for an upcoming Friday prayer in which he decides to lead, would that prayer be valid?
