Assalamu Allaykum brothers and sisters,

I have heard a lot of brothers saying if you read Surah Yaseen every morning, your whole day will become easy and all your hardship will go away, is there any Ahadith regarding this?, if so which ones? are they Sahih?

Regards, Muhammad

Salaam,

I know there is a hadith were it says:

Everything has a heart and the heart of the Quran is Surah Yaseen, whoever read Yaseen, Allah will write the reward of reading the Quran ten times from him. (Tirmizi and Darmi)

Some scholars do say this is a weak hadith, but not really sure about the question your refering to. Maybe someone with more knowledge will able to help

JazakaAllah Kheir

There are a number of ahaadeeth which speak of the virtues of this soorah, most of which are, however, false and fabricated, and some of which are slightly weak (da’eef). We have not found any saheeh hadeeth which speaks specifically of the virtues of Soorat Ya-Seen.

Among the reports which have been narrated concerning its virtues but classed as da’eef by the scholars of hadeeth include the following, which we are only quoting here to warn about them:

“Everything has a heart, and the heart of the Qur’aan is Ya-Seen; whoever reads it, it is as if he has read the Qur’aan ten times.”

“Whoever reads Soorat Ya-Seen in one night will be forgiven in the morning.”

“Whoever continues to read it every night then dies, will die as a shaheed (martyr).”

“Whoever enters the graveyard and reads Soorat Ya-Seen, their (punishment) will be reduced that day, and he will have hasanaat (reward) equal to the number of people in the graveyard.”

See: al-Mawdoo’aat by Ibn al-Jawzi (2/313); al-Fawaa’id al-Majmoo’ah by al-Shawkaani (979, 942). See also the essay Hadeeth Qalb al-Qur’aan Ya-Seen fi’l-Mizaan wa Jumlat mimma ruwiya fi Fadaa’iliha by Shaykh Muhammad ‘Amr ‘Abd al-Lateef, may Allaah preserve him.

There is no doubt that Soorah Yaa-Seen is a great and important soorah which contains moving stories and eloquent lessons.

Asalaamu'Alykum,

I have not come across anything in regard to reading Surah Yaseen every morning or evening.

The book i have, by looking at the contents says:

Surah Al-Fatihah
Ayat Al-Kursi
Last verses of Surah Al-Baqarah
Surah Al-Kahf (Friday Specfically)

Book 036, Hadith Number 5039.
------------------------------
Chapter : Not known.

Narated By Irbad ibn Sariyah : The Apostle of Allah (pbuh) used to recite al-Musabbihat before going to sleep, and say: They contain a verse which is better than a thousand verses.

[Note: Al-Musabbihat are those Surahs that begin with Allah's glorfication (Subhana, Sabbaha, Yusabbihu). They are Surahs Al-Isra, Al-Hadid, Al-Hashr, As-Saff, Al-Jumu'ah, At-Taghabun and Al-A'la]

Also Surah As-Sajdah and Mulk in the evening.

" Abu Hurayrah (R.A) narrated that the Messenger of Allah used to recite Surah As0Sajdah and Surah Al-Insan in the morning prayer on Friday." (Al-Bukhari no.891 and Muslim no.879)

" Abu Hurayrah (R.A) narrated that teh Messenger of Allah said, "Verily, there is a Surah of the Qur'an that contains thirty verses. These verses will intercede on behalf of a man until he is forgiven. It (that Surah) is "Tabarakallazee biyadhil mulk" (Al-Mulk).
(Ahmed 2:299, At Tirmidhi no. 2891, Abu Dawud no.1400, An-Nasa'i in Al-Kubra no.632, and Ibn Majah no. 3786, Al-Albani said that it is good)

Also there is Surah Ar-Rahman, Az-Zalzalah, Al-Kafiroon, Al-Ikhlas, Al-Falaq and An-Nas.

May have steered off a bit. Sorry about that, but it means i did not find anything about Surah Yaseen. :)

Alhamdulilah
