hope all the brothers and sisters are fine and in good health.
Ramadhan is coming and i would like to start a thread about the experiences of all of you inchAllah about your first Ramadhan, how was it for u ? how did u feel ??

so let me start inchAllah :
i was 15 , and i used to play football (soccer) almost everyday, so it was a little bit hard to wait till maghrib, but i enjoyed it alhamdulillah and i was counting the days, and i was also feeling kind older, just like if i belong from that time to another age-community lol.
in the maghrib time, i used to eat everything in front of me till i couldnt stand up for a while ( Warning : that was not good at all, astagfirullah :astag: ).
and at the end of Ramadhan i was very proud and i was telling everyone in the family that i fasted all the month alhamdulillah.

that´s all, ur turn now :SMILY346: :SMILY346: :SMILY346:

take all care,
:salam2:

It was in the 7th grade. I found it very easy to fast and Alhamdulillaah I was not easily tempted by the food. But forgot about the real meaning of using the month to increase in good deeds by reading quran and so on. I remember every day I would come home at 4 from school had to help my mom prepare the food i had to chop so much onions that month, my eyes got dry. The sun setted at 5pm.and life was good.

It seems like long time ago...instead it was just 3 yrs ago :D

I was so excited and I still remember when I broke the fast for the first time...the hot food in my empty stomach made me feel asleep straight away
Looking forward for the 4th :inshallah:

Assalamou 3alaykom,

My first Ramadan was last year. It was not a pleasant experience for me. Battling those whispers in my ear. I could only fast 10 days because I was always ill. I let myself get angry and annoyed at the lack of control of the children. I swore that I would never go back until the parents took control of the children. I feel more differently now because there has been much change the masjid. I am really really really excited about this Ramadan. I am more stable in my love for Allah and myself :D

This will be my first time ever participating in Ramadan, so I can't say how it went. But i'm not to worried about fasting. I never eat at school, I drink water but I never eat, so I think being without water will be tough, lol. And I just feel there's a lot I have to accomplish before Ramadan, like telling my parents i'm a Muslim.
