i'm not 100% but i think that he can or does. it seems to be something of his character. keeping muslims distracted while reading critical ayats. i know for a fact that shaytan hates the quran and the ayats contained within them.

Salam,
yes he twisted us when we recites surah al quran,so we need to recite doa first before we perform solat or recites surah al quran

yes it is true that shyatan doesnt like it when we pray namaz.read quran or do anything to please ALLAH.
thats why when we start reading namaaz we start yawning.and we start thinking of all the things we need to do.or if wev lost something we think were did i put it
?and finally we remember.bcoz the devil doesnt want us to read namaaz with full attention.ASTAGFIRULLAH.

Narrated Abu Huraira (R.A): The Prophet said, When the call for the prayer is pronounced, shaitan takes to his heels, passing wind with noise. When the call for the prayer is finished, he comes back. And when the iqama is pronounced, he again takes to his heels, and after its completion, he returns again to interfere between (the praying) person and his heart, saying to him Remember this or that thing till the person forgets whether he has offered three or four rakaah: so if one forgets whether he has prayed 3 or 4 rakaah, he should perform 2 prostrations od sahw(forgetfulness) (source: Sahih Al-Bukhari, vol. 4, p.324).

Shydan would distrubt us when we are praying, reading quraan or doing anything that involves Islam, coz he wants us to be lost,, or forot what we were doing,,,,,,,, Honestly when Im praying I remember my home work, or any other stuff that I did or didnt do it yet, so shaydaan its our enemy,,,,, its always good to read du'aa.

My little brother who is three, he always starts screaming or distracting my mother or us when we read Qu'ran or perform Salaat. My mum runs a small Qu'ran class and Danyal, my brother often disrupts the class.. This is a way the Shaytan disturbs the person praying.
