salaam aleikum brother saifudine,

I think your right about the first pic you showed, the rest isn't really realistic in my point of view, but your pic is realistic, and that is forbidden, I'm not attacking you, just informing:blackhijab: you can consider it as a compliment of your drawingskills.

Salam :)

I dont know, dont you think its too specific? I mean there has been no clear law for "shoes".. Or I mean, us trying to relate to something and completely banning it? is it wise?

Also, If God wants us to not hurt ourselves.. then dont you think we should not practice sports? What I mean is we cant always just compare like that, because if we do, then see what we will reach?

Thank you btw good brother :)

^I guess heels in general

I think it shouldnt do anything with the height that God gave you.
You can see my point in what I said in the 3rd post :)

Salam.

About the heels topic:

I have read some good points, but I still think its being too specific and "narrow".

Well, maybe the extremely high and "fashionable" heels are not needed indeed.. but say, the other very short shoes that have heels? but not intended for "looking fashinable"? are they that decatend?

Also, IF, the woman wears it for "looking better and more fashinable" intentions, then this might be wrong..

Hmm ,I mean, arent shoes in general these days have some sort of heels?
I dont know.. thats what I think
:)

ahh I dont know much about portraits and "human like" things?

My avtar is just a random drawing I made.. Not exactly meaning any prophet or close companions of the Prophet pbuh..

Then dont these have similarities? >>:salah: :arabi1: :girl3:  :astag: << I think they do..

Al salam

salam.
I agree with you here. As you can see in my previous posts :)

At the end, its the intention of the person.

Are know what are u doing Now..giving fatwas without knowledge,

My advise the enthusiastic youth not to indulge in matters of which they do not have knowledge. Regarding the matter of giving fatwas without knowledge,
it is sufficient for us to note the words of Allaah (interpretation of the meaning)
“And on the Day of Resurrection you will see those who lied against Allaah (i.e. attributed to Him sons, partners) their faces will be black”

Of course i want jannah, i'm just not so sure about the shoe ruling.
The thing is.. you gonna see a shoe with high heels on them and i'm not talking about very high here (don't get me wrong) and at the same time they are not flat. The idea about the heels make your hips move, i think even wearing a flat shoe you can still move your hips, so it has nothing to do with the shoe. It is just the way you walk and your intentions. Bottom line.. if i'm wearing the right clothing (hijab) and not moving my hips lol, i think i'm safe.
If i said anything wrong :astag:

:hijabi:

sister,i give u the answer before ..plz.. put your mind at rest.

i understand totally the difficulties and social embarrassment and i know that going against one’s family and the society in which one lives are very difficult matters, but Allaah makes every difficult thing easy.

Allaah says (interpretation of the meanings):

“… And Allaah is the Wali (Protector and Helper) of the believers.” [Aal ‘Imraan 3:68]

“…And whosoever fears Allaah and keeps his duty to Him, He will make a way for him to get out (from every difficulty).” [al-Talaaq 65:2]

“… Allaah will grant after hardship, ease.” [al-Talaaq 65:7]

“As for those who strive hard in Us (Our Cause), We will surely guide them to Our Paths (i.e., Allaah’s Religion – Islamic Monotheism)…”
[al-‘Ankaboot 29:69]

My husband doesn't mind me wearing heels. AS he says - he can actually look in my eyes and not down on me LOL.
I wear high heels but they do not make a noise when i walk and because of teh way in which O dress my "adornments" are not exposed

Rules....

Asalamualikum,

This thread has made some good points....

Just imagine Mary, the mother of Jesus (PBUH)...wearing HIGH heels...

....get the picture now?

There needs to be a reasonable balance of haram and not haram. Low heels help me have better posture...

About the hip movement.....
Bottom line.. if i'm wearing the right clothing (hijab) and not moving my hips lol, i think i'm safe.

I could not help but think of the 'light in the loafer' guys who do their best not to sway the hips....sorry, but this picture came to my mind while reading the post....a little laughter helps when reading all of these posts on RULES!

When Moses went to the mountain....God did not give him commandment 11...THOU SHALT NOT WEAR HIGH HEELS.....

1...Love thy neighbor as thy self

2. Do not kill

3. Do not covet

4. Love God with all your hear, mind and soul.

etc..........(anyone familiar with the 10 'commandments' rules that God gave to Moses?) or is this haram? (please don't STONE me for even asking this)

When you think about it, all of us are barefoot or with socks, when praying...no shoes at all when praying before God/Allah.....all of us are as he made us for prayer...and submission unto him.

May Allah show us his path.

heels - yes or no?

salaam alaikum

A woman's hijaab should not expose the outline of her body or draw attention to herself.

High heels arch the back - Im gonna be blunt here cos I think we are all talking in riddle which is why some people are getting confused - the arched back makes the chest stick out, shoulders back and makes the backside stick out. A woman in jilbaab and flats may not be showing any outline of her figure - until she puts heels on. The effect of heels also gives the illusion of longer legs and the sound of the high heel is a sound connected to the image of a woman approaching - how many men do you hear clip clopping down the street.

In mu opinion they are not allowed - to those who are not so sure, enough evidence has been presented on this thread but each of us must make our own minds up as we are each responsible for our own actions - my advice to you though is avoid high heels.

For those sisters who may be self conscious about their height and so wear heels to compensate - Allah swt made you the way you are, beautiful, without heels,do you really need them? Especially when they have the effects I have mentioned above? Some of the best things come in small packages.:blackhijab:

salaam aleikum wa rahmatulahi wa barakatuh sisters (and brothers),

for those of you who state: i wear them but my hips don't sway. that doesn't matter,

If something is forbidden, of even doubtfull you shouldn't do it.

Drinking is forbidden because it can cost you a lot of damage and inapropriate behaviour then somebody sais, I drink but i'm not getting drunk. IT'S STILL FORBIDDEN

or if somebody says: I won't get addicted to gambling, I am a strong person. IT'S STILL FORBIDDEN

IN THE QURAN YOU ARE WARNED TO LOWER YOUR GAZE,
If somebody says: I'm wearing high heals, but my hips don't move in a sensual way, while it's is a fact they are, IN THE QURAN STILL THE WORDS WON'T CHANGE, SO THE ANSWER IS THE SAME HERE.

That's the best thing about islam, all noses is one direction, so that the weak will be protected.

I know that I can see it when a perfectly dressed muslima (mashallah) is still wearing high heels. I can see, so what about the men

Masha Allah, all these inputs about high heels?

I think muslim woman should ask herself, is she wearing this type of shoes is to get the attention of men passing by? If it is for her own comfort I dont think it is Haram. Muslim woman (and Man) must fear Allah for every step she/he takes.
