ANYBODY EVER FELT THE URGE TO CONVERT TO ISLAM ME AND MY GIRLFRIEND HAVE CONVERTED WE BOTH LIVE IN THE UK AND ARE BOTH WHITE MY GIRLFRIEND WAS A BIT NERVOUS OF WEARING THE HIJAB AND NIQAB NOW SHE EMBRACES IT AND LOVES BEING CLOSER TO ALLAH. MY GIRLFRIEND STARTED TO READ ABOUT ISLAM AND GOT IN TO IT MORE AND MORE AFTER I CONVERTED, SHE TOLD ME THAT WHEN AS SOON AS SHE STARTED TO STUDY ISLAM SHE FELT A WARMTH WITHIN I DID TOO,WE BOTH BECAME INTOXICATED WITH ALLAH SHE HAS GOT GIRLFRIENDS THAT HAVE STARTED TO READ ABOUT ISLAM SO SOON THERE WILL BE MORE SISTERS,WE ARE BOTH HAPPY CAN ANYONE TELL ME IF THEY FELT THE UNUSUAL WARM FEELING LIKE A BUZZ WHEN THEY FIRST STARTED READING ABOUT ISAM GET BACK PM IF YA WANT THANKS

Brother, please, please. please...understand that your color has nothing to do with you being Muslim. Pointing out race only serves to create division and truly, your color has nothing to do with your deen.

To answer your question, when I first converted I was constantly dealing with fitna and struggle. Later I realized this was Shaitaan trying to make me doubt my deen. It seems I was dealing with someone who was anti-Islamic everyday. Interestingly enough, after I became more certain in my decision I no longer recieved as many nagging thoughts and links to anti-Islamic sites.

As Salaamu Alaikum, Al Hamdulilah on ur reversion, first thing u should do is get rid of the girlfriend and make her ur wife!!! yes i believe all of us that r not n what could b loosely seen as a Islamic country go thru these types of ordeals

It is always inspiring when i read about someone becoming a muslim, and yes race doesnt count even though most people will think it strange that a white person becomes muslim, islam is for all humanity whatever the color, race or language.
I am trully humbled too, me being born into islam.
May Allah Almighty give you the strenght to become better muslims and also give you strenght to make your girlfriend become your wife and together you will walk the path of the guided ones. Ameen

Mashallah brother, I am very happy 4 u both but remember in islam there are no races, or anything cos everyone is the same we are all human.

My husband told me once that Allah (swt) made more than one language to show he has the power to do it!
