Lessons of Musa and Khidr

Salaam Alaikum

I have an assigment from my teacher on this about the lessons between the dialouge of Musa (alahis salaam) and Khidr (alahis salaam)

and so far all I have is Patience with your friends, and Patience with yourself
is the only lesson from this. I am not asking you help me cheat because my teacher is allowing us to use human intellect as a source, as long as they can back it up. also she just does want us to make anything up.

please help

every Prophets were given a special powers by Allah azawajallah. as Khidr was given the 'mokjeeza' by Allah as a future reader while Moosa was given a stick that can changed to a serpent. in Surah Kahf; ayaat 65-82 Moosa was tested for his patience from Khidr while learning of his (Khidr) knowledge but failed. we have to seek the knowledge of the expert (schoolars) for the interpretations of this ayaat but we still can find the 'heekma' from these story. the conclusions are from from the word patient itself/Allah Is Fair, Subhanallah.

This great story teaches us that no matter how much we know in this life, it is nothing beside the knowledge of Allah the AllKnower..

You see somwthing bad happenes to you (or others) then you say Alhamdulillah because Allah knows this thing is for your own good even if you think it to be otherwise.

Same thing when something good happenes you say alhamdulillah because you might loose it one day.. or turns out to be a cause of sickness or heartbrake...etc.

So it is most important not to object on what Allah has writen for you because Allah knows what is and what isnt good for you.

Khidr and Moosa (A.S.) are two prophets separated by time in a dimension know to Allah only. through the brief interaction between these two holy men Allah (S.H) is giving us a glimpse of two aspects of various events. And also testing the patience of man against the natural occurance of things. Behind every incident we witness there can be a hidden dimension also. And what we judge something as bad for us need not be actually bad but on the otherhand good. Our powerr of reason is limited and many a times our judgement may go the opposite way allah is the knower of all things in the past in the future and in the present. He is the Aalimulghaib.

As far as I know most of the scholars did not consider Khidr as a prophet.

now i have heard someone saying he's this and that. the qur'an mentioned only 25 prophets names. there are like 24 000 prophets i think but the qur'an mentioned 25 prophets only. so dont say khidr is a prophet. also someone posted a thread abt daniel saying he was a prophet. but daniels name isnt mentioned in qur'an.

The reason being is that When the Muslims conquered As Shams, they found Daniel's grave (somewhere in the Holy land), it was removed by a flood and amazingly enough his body was intact. Local traditions said that was Daniel.
And we know from the Hadeeth that the bodies of the Prophets stay intact as if they died today.

Allah knows best.

Perhaps Daniel was a Shaheed?
