Waalaykumsalam

You can ask your friends or family members to go to islamic classes with you. It is a form of motivation

i would if there were any islamic classes where i live but unforutunately i cant seem to find any classes so most of my learning is done through internet, books and speaking to others very basic.

I dont have anyone to seek knowledge with i.e. family or friends and i would love if Allah blessed me with a pious and knowledgable friend.....

thanks for you advice sis:hearts:

You shouldnt be waiting for knowledge to come to your doorstep, time to take some action (it doesnt work like that anyways lol)

Don't rely on others who dont actually care and therfore won't be committed to helping you out.

I seriously recommend you start your own study circle up, be strict about attendance, no nonsense approach, tell people about, have a study programme, not anything too hefty just simple stuff.

I started one in September and I can't believe how its turned out, we even have a potential teacher now with authority in knowledge which we didnt have before, and this was basically all a simple idea with practically zero support from anyone else, but Allaah helps those who help themselves.

So ..do something :)

ps ..my area is really rubbish for muslims and the teacher doesnt even live in this area, he will travel here to help us with the lessons - awesome see?
