Misleading People

Um Ibrahim

Alhamdulilah :)
Asalamu Alaykum dear brothers and sisters

I wanted to let you guys know about a website I came across couple of days ago as I was looking for some good Islamic websites. This website is run by people who call themselves Muslims, but I have a big doubt about that, SubhanaAllah!

Anyways, they answer questions about Islam, but they don't tell people the right things. I'm guessing these people are those who only believe in the Quran as they say, but reject the Prophet's(PBUH) teachings, I emailed them about a question I saw on their website which was "

Do you believe that non-Muslims go to heaven?" --PENELOPE IN CONN[/]
This is what they answered:

"Yes, God does assure us that there are believers destined for heaven in all different groups. The words Islam and Muslim are more than just a name. They are a description of performing total devotion to God alone. The equivalent English word for Islam is Submission, which is practiced by a Submitter to God alone [1]. There are submitters who are Christian, Jewish, Buddhist, Hindu, or from other backgrounds. All submitters who are devoted to God alone without setting up any idols are redeemed by God [2]. Thus, God’s scripture, the Quran, tells us that His devoted worshippers, no matter what they call themselves, will go to heaven."
So I decided to ask them a question about their answer, and I asked what their prove/evidence was for their answer and this is how they responded to me. It's really too long but I'll put some of it in here:

Anone who worships God alone will go to Heaven irrespective of what they call their religion.

Unity of All Submitters

[2:62] Surely, those who believe, those who are Jewish, the Christians, and the converts; anyone who (1) believes in GOD, and (2) believes in the Last Day, and (3) leads a righteous life, will receive their recompense from their Lord. They have nothing to fear, nor will they grieve.

Minimum Requirements For Salvation

[5:69] Surely, those who believe, those who are Jewish, the converts, and the Christians; any of them who (1) believe in GOD and (2) believe in the Last Day, and (3) lead a righteous life, have nothing to fear, nor will they grieve.

On the other hand anyone who commits idolatry (including those who call themselves muslims) cannot go to Heaven. Here are some definitions of idolatry based on the quran.

FOLLOWING A SOURCE OTHER THAN QURAN IS IDOLATRY

The following verse makes it clear that the Quran is God's
Testomony. Folloing any other source is defined as idolatry[/COLOR
I'm guessing the source they keep repeating is the Hadiths of the Prophet(PBUH)...and they are saying that it's disbelieve to believe in the hadiths.

So I sent them another email saying that to reject the Prophet's teaching is a grave sin and this is what they/ or he said:

We are one of those guys who follow the words of God which came from the prophet's mouth - the words of the Quran.

The Greatest Criterion*

[39:45] When GOD ALONE is mentioned, the hearts of those who do not believe in the Hereafter shrink with aversion. But when others are mentioned beside Him, they become satisfied.*

*39:45 Despite the clear commandment in 3:18 that the First Pillar of Islam is proclaiming: ``Ash-hadu An Laa Elaaha Ellaa Allah (there is no other god beside God),'' the majority of ``Muslims'' insist upon adding the name of Muhammad. This Greatest Criterion alerts us that rejoicing in adding the name of Muhammad, or any other name, exposes disbelief in the Hereafter.[/COLOR

My dear brothers and sisters, I'm informing all of you of these people and their website so those of you who have enough knowledge can message them and try to tell them their wrongs and the great sin they are in. I tried, but Insha'Allah if more Muslims try to make them see what they're doing they will maybe realize their mistakes. Plus, they are giving non-Muslims and Muslims alike the wrong information about Islam which is corrupting people's minds.

Well here is the website, removed

Wa aalaikumassalaam,

Jazakillaahu Khayrun for the warning, these people have many sites and are corrupting many minds, especially that of reverts.

Here are a couple more warnings against them found here on TTI
Warning 1 - Submitters and their fallacy
Warning 2 - Rashad Khalifah, the founder, a kaafir

I think they even refer Rashad Khalifah's translations of the Quran to people...but I didn't even know about this person. SubhanaAllah! so many misleading people in this world, may Allah protect us from them...Amin
