AMMAN, (PIC)-- Dr. Mousa Abu Marzouk, the deputy political bureau chairman of Hamas Movement, has revealed that seven Arab countries would patronize the inter-Palestinian national dialog.

The Hamas leader told a seminar in the Jordanian capital on the Gaza battle on the phone that the meetings between Fatah and Hamas delegations in Cairo aimed at furnishing the atmosphere before the dialog, which is scheduled to open in Cairo by the end of February.

He noted that the Hamas-Fatah talks focused on media campaigns, political detention and closure of Palestinian institutions.

Abu Marzouk explained that the dialog would produce six committees to discuss all pending issues including restructuring the PLO, national unity government, security apparatuses, elections and means of dealing with results of the division in the Palestinian arena.

He hoped that ending the Palestinian rift would lead to ending the inter-Arab differences, which had a bad impact on the Palestine cause.

Fatah!! I don't trust them a single cent. And Arab countries? What Arab countries?
:salam2:
Well put,

They are simply nothing but sellouts.
PLO and fatah is a joke, just read about Oslo "peace accords" and look all the concessions they made in return for nothing, same thing in camp david in 2000.

Me too don´t trust old PLO; its leaders are old men and kept power for decades, someones say they are corrupted and sold rights of Palestinians to enemy but... in fact situation where two biggest factions are un-unity and almost as war together, helps only zionists. As one brother from Gaza wrote in other forum: "we eat in the same plate".

Why do they not have unity? Supposedly both share the same goal, yet where are they split? The amount of concessions Fatah made and is willing to make is ridiculous, such concessions does not achieve anything for the Palestinian people.

Yes these factions have same goal but they opinions how to get it is different. Others are thinking only resistance can liberate Palestine and others believe for negotiations.

PLO gave independent declaration of Palestine at 1988, then they have had first and second intifada, Oslo Agreement, Annapolis Conference and still zionists steal land, torture, kidnap or massacres Palestinians, destroy homes or what ever.

I think I don´t believe it is good idea to try to negotiate with zionists at all...
