brothers and sisters i have a question, I know Dr Keith Moore acknowledge the great Scientific miracle of Quran regarding embryology. Did he revert to islam?? and is it true that in his latest edition of the book "The Developing Human", he used Quran as one of the references in the reference list? (the ones you have near the end), if someone can provide me with a pic or link of this that would be great.

Thank you Brothers

I don't know but I thought I comment anyway.

As you know with all the stories of the prophets, miracles were shown to the people. They still didn't believe. For ex.

Moses as, Allah parted the red sea and what did the people do after the great event. They worshiped a golden calf.

Jesus as, performed many miracles, they tried to kill him afterwards.

Quran, clear divine revelation proven, they are scratching their heads.

So although, I don't know about him, don't be surprised if they are of no belief. Although, it would it is interesting to find out about what people do when they witness a miracle. And keep in mind, especially in the west, there are many people who become muslim and hide it or don't make it public.

Salaam Brother Shaheerpak I'm not sure if Dr keith Moore actually said his Shahada but Professor Moore was asked the following question: “Does this mean that you believe that the Quran is the word of God?” He replied: “I find no difficulty in accepting this.”

Please click on the source and Link below i think you may find it interesting.

thank you , but im really curious if Quran is listed as one of the references in the book he wrote

YES, if you check the diagrams, it mentions Quran and sunnah.

Figure 1: Drawings illustrating the similarities in appearance between a leech and a human embryo at the alaqah stage. (Leech drawing from Human Development as Described in the Quran and Sunnah, Moore and others, p. 37, modified from Integrated Principles of Zoology, Hickman and others. Embryo drawing from The Developing Human, Moore and Persaud, 5th ed., p. 73.)

ok no problems, i think your question has been answered.
It was a scientific seminar held in Jedda /Riyadh 2000 or 2002 that talked about it.
and yes he has refered to Quran and sunnah in his new book.
