:salam2:
Marriage is a blessing from Allah upon his servants so they may experience the beautiful and deeper meanings of life..such as love, sacrifice, commitment, and birth..if one were to believe in Allah and praise His blessings upon the world and those who live in it..then why would he/she reject the most noble one?
You said that you can avoid zina..because it is not a problem..but it seems that you're looking onto zina from a narrow definition..and it is "the physical" aspect of it..certainly that is incorrect..as the eyes commit zina..so do the ears..so does the mouth..and even your mind in what imagines or thinks about!..with an infalliblity embedded within yourself and a nafs that is weak and behesting of wrongdoing..dear..you are no where CLOSE to avoiding *any* wrongdoing from the most minor to the most major..
I can go on and give you "personal perspectives" all day long..but no words are better than those of our Beloved (saaws) regarding this matter..so here is a couple of hadiths for you to ponder over
Narrated Anas bin Malik: A group of three men came to the houses of the wives of the Prophet asking how the Prophet worshipped (Allah), and when they were informed about that, they considered their worship insufficient and said, "Where are we from the Prophet as his past and future sins have been forgiven." Then one of them said, "I will offer the prayer throughout the night forever." The other said, "I will fast throughout the year and will not break my fast." The third said, "I will keep away from the women and will not marry forever." Allah's Apostle came to them and said, "Are you the same people who said so-and-so? By Allah, I am more submissive to Allah and more afraid of Him than you; yet I fast and break my fast, I do sleep and I also marry women. So he who does not follow my tradition in religion, is not from me (not one of my followers)." (Book #62, Hadith #1) [Bukhari, Muslim]
Narrated Uqba bin Amir: Allah's Apostle said, "From among all the conditions which you have to fulfill, the conditions which make it legal for you to have physical relations (i.e. the marriage contract) have the greatest right to be fulfilled." (Book #50, Hadith #882) [Bukhari]
You certainly have a choice in *who* you want to marry..and set conditions as to *what* you seek from marriage (so long they do not counter Sharia of course!)..which should make this decision easier and more meaningful for you inshallah..and surely through the Sunnah of Rasulullah and the Qura'an..you may even learn about matters more detailed as to how lead a life with a partner under the institution of marriage..so research and read into the topic more when you have the time
