السلام عليكم ورحمة الله و بركاته

I was wondering about something ..
u know that we pray 5 times aday and we make Wudu' before these prayers

some of here are thinking that we have to take shower before every prayer

I wanna to clarify and say that we DONT HAVE TO
wodu is not taking shower

we only take shower before praying in espicial situations

here is the discription of Wodu :

I guess I am crazy but when I first began reading about Islam I read something about not letting bodily fluids stain the clothing (such as urine) and that really concerned me. Then I saw a video on YouTube about the same thing and in the video it mentioned having water in the bathroom to freshen up after using the facilities. It concerned me again. SOOOOO then I traveled to Morocco and understood everything about it by seeing with my own eyes the way the bathroom is set up there. So when I came back home I found it easier for me to just take a partial ghusl. Once I began doing that I felt better about my wudu than I did before so now thats how I do it everytime. Laugh if you want but I feel CLEANNNNNNNNN <smile> ;)

at that link for the fatwa, it says that some scholars say that there is a ghusl for after becoming unconcious? Is that so?

So does this mean we should take ghusl on fridays?

Ghusl .. do u mean taking shower? i know this word it's in Arabic ( my language ) but I wanna know what u exactly mean :)
I was searching about Washing Of fridays , most of scholars said that if we didnt did it , it will not be considered as a sin
Many scholars said it's Sunnah
http://www.binbaz.org.sa/mat/16369
here Shiekh bin Bazz said that it is not complusary for women , Ghusl is for whom will go to the Jum'a prayer

And Allah knows best :)

:salam2: sister,

The fatwa says it's only recommended in the case of being unconscious. However, performing wudu' is obligatory in this case just as in the case of someone who's been sleeping. An unconscious person may pass gas or something, so wudu' is a must.
