my mother cursed me.....i m very sad :(

my father did a mistake and my brother told that to our mother.she got very angry and upset and then our parents had a fight and quarell.and i told my brother in tough tone "why did u tell that mistake to mom".

she became angry and cursed me and she told tht i m misguiging my bro.i felt very sad and cried like a girl. i fear Allah regarding curses.my mother afterwards felt sorry and told that she is taking her curse back.

is it okay now? can i be sure that Allah will not listen to her curse words?
i m very fearful and sad.....ur bro-in-islam.

I think no mother can curse her son from a heart, that was out of anger....Try to please your mother and be kind to her that will fix everything.

I'm so sorry to hear that. Don't bother whose mistake you must first seek apology from you mom and Allah. Don't worry everthing will be fine.

inshallah brother nothing to worry about if your mother has taken it back and she probably didnt mean it and it came out of anger (which happens to alot of people) its important that we control our anger.inshallah jus apologise to your mother and everything will be fine.

Don't be sad akhi...she took it all back..so inshallah you're alright..don't worry!

Apologize to her..kiss her hand..or her forehead..and tell her that you only wanted to look out after her feelings and did not mean to cause harm or misguidance..and remind her of the hadith of Rasulullah (saaws) warning about making dua'a *against* the dear things in our lives because the dua'a may get answered and in-turn cause harm:

"Do not make dua'a against yourselves, do not make dua'a against your children, do not make dua'a against your servants, and do not make dua'a against your wealth, so it (i.e. the dua'a) does not fall within an hour of giving from Allah, in which He answers [your dua'a]" (Abu Dawood)

And if you can buy your mom a gift or make her something special then all the better it will soften her heart even more and let her know that you truly felt bad about her getting upset..and again don't worry akhi..mothers are humans..they get upset and angry at times..but their motherhood always overwhelms them and they realize what they've done
