Welcome to Islam! MashAllaah you happened to revert in the most holiest islamic month-Ramadan. May Allaah continue to guide you on His Straight Path, Ameen. There are a lot of brothers and sisters here that can help you with any questions you have. Please make dua for all of us since your WHOLE life's slate and baggage has been wiped clean of ALL sins considering you just reverted. InshAllaah I am sure there are some brothers from your area who can maybe even meet up with you.
I do not want to overburden you, but did you know that Allaah chains up the devils in the month of Ramadan and that the doors of Hellfire are closed while the doors of Heaven are open? Did you know that this is the BEST month for asking for Allaah for forgiveness and anything else you desire?

It is so heart warming to see people accepting Islam in this month of Ramadan. Brother NJ has a large Muslim population. I hope you live near a Masjid. Masjids are a wonderful place specially in this month of Ramadan. So please plan on attending prayers. Also please don't hessitate to tell the Imam that you just reverted. Many masjids have some sort of programs to help new reverts, even if not then you will meet some Muslims and befriend with them, which helps.
