As salamu alaikkum, you can only sit and pray your obligatory salah if your travelling and that too if your sure that the vehicle is not going to stop at a place. If you stop at a place you can just pull out a little prayer mat (the ones those 5 year olds use lol) and pray right next to your car, or if you have a big van, you can even stand inside and pray :p Thats what I did when I was coming back from india. I was in the mumbai airport where they have no prayer room facility, so I went to an isolated area (I know it looked a bit dodgy, but oh well :)) and just put the mat and performed salah there alhamdulillah. But however you have a choice of sitting and praying for your voluntary salah, but you will only gain half the reward though :) In shaAllah for a few days people might give you dirties and you might feel weird, but soon in shaAllah you will become used to it, and in shaAllah it can be a form of Da'wah ;)

:salam2: If you have no way to pray outside of the car, you may pray, but have to repeat again when you are outside of car. As for fard salah, praying in standing position is fard. But for nafal salah you may pray while sitting.

As salamu 'alaikkum akhi, is there not a little space in your working area to pray. I mean usually when there is none, you can ask for it, like even the corner of a room. Just sweet talk your manager and ask him for one. Or any little place a bit more safer. You can always ask in shaAllah to your manager or head of department or who ever is incharge. Make a nice relationship with him/her, and then ask him/her for one.

Salam brother

I think the best thing is for you is to make dua and walk straight up to your boss and ask him for a room or corner to pray your salah.

In my previous work I had a boss that was known to be a very difficult person and was very hot tempered. One day I made dua to Allah SWT to make my situation easy for me, so I decided to approach my boss and told him because of my beliefs I needed to pray 5 times a day. Subhannallah there was me thinking he was going to give me a right ear full when suddenly his temperament changed and he said "No problem I totally understand, you can pray in the main computer room" Can you believe he even offered to build a wudu area just for me, but I told him it wasn’t necessary as the sink was fine.

I think, this just goes to show that no matter how much you may think people will be against you praying and as long as Allah knows your intention he will make things easy for you.

So my advice brother is give it a try ask your boss for a place to pray because you just don’t know until you try, and may Allah make it easy for you.
