At-Tahrim, 66:6

O you who believe! Ward off from yourselves and your families a Fire (Hell) whose fuel is men and stones, over which are (appointed) angels stern (and) severe, who disobey not, (from executing) the Commands they receive from Allah, but do that which they are commanded. (At-Tahrim, 66:6)

Assalamu'alaikum brothers and sisters,


Questions for the above verse from the Holy Qur'an:


1. We know few Hadith mentioned about women making up the numbers for hellfire. Look at the above verse, these words "....and your families..". Let's say the wife and his daughters do not wear hijab, will the husband / father enter the hell together with his wife/daughers?

2. Why stones being burn? I heard recently it is because some stones allowed it self to be made idol and worshipped. How can it be?

First of all, I am very sorry for the late reply. Secondly, I am not an 'Ulama.

That is true and the Hadiths you are reffering is well known. In Islam, we are questioned for what we do. Men are the Qawwamoon. So its their duty to keep their family on the true path. If he try his best and still they do not correct themselves, then you will not be in trouble inshaAllah. But........it is recommended for him to take all the measures to prevent his family from it.

If he did not care and let them be like how they like to be, then he will be along them because it is a Wajib for him to call his family to correct path and keep them firm in it.

We know several such examples in Islam. We know several such examples in Islam. Where did you heard it and what are the proof of it?

I was listening to radio, then I heard this sheikh was saying that the reason why stones end up in hell. Make sense, why? No reference given by the sheikh.
