Asslam'u alykum,
Jazak Allah khayar, akhi.

In Jammah, in sujood position, if someone's has not completed reciting tasbeeh three times yet but hears Imam's takbir, is it permissible to recite third time or they should just stand with everyone else for the fear of breaking Jammah, i.e. mistake no. 4?

beautiful knowledge. i hope one day all muslims will be considerate and not recite fatiha or other parts in a loud voice. it is really very very annoying and confusing! makes u just want to slap the other person hehehehe.

please refer to this:

http://islamqa.com/en/ref/65847

Summary: the obligatory part of salah is to say it once. Twice or more is sunnah.

You do not have to follow the imaam by the second, so a few seconds delay inshaAllaah is perfectly acceptable. See below on following the imaam.

-------

To the original poster, brother can you please add one more VERY important issue which many people do not practice:

- When praying in Jama3aah, the correct time to follow the imaam is AFTER he has completed saying "Allaahu-Akbar" or "Sami3ah Allaahu Liman Hamdiah". Unfortunately many rush and complete the action before the imaam. The imaam must say the takbeer or "sami3ah.." during the action, not at the end.

The sad part is many of our Imaams do not know this, and the people praying behind the imaam end up following whoever moves first. You must wait for the imaam to finish speaking, and then move on to the next action!

No brother, please don't expect that to happen that all of sudden oneday everyone will become perfect. Everyone around us is at different level, and tolerating others mistakes is every Muslim's religious moral duty. :)

May Allah guide us all.

Manshallah! This is very informative. I usually don't put my nose on the floor when i'm in sajood because of my sensitivity to dust, but i will from now on, i guess i'm going to have to bring a prayer mat.Jezakallahu kheirn!!

Alhamdulilah the brother answered the question, just notice as we shouldn't delay or elongate our sajood or rokkoh, same time we shouldn't rush to stand within seconds of Imam start saying Allah Akbar, let the imam complete his position then follow him.

As for not able to touch your nose due to allergy etc. of course its oK to bring your prayer rug and pray on it with the Jammah,

And Allah knows best.
