Wise Words



> The mind is its own place, and in itself can make a heaven of Hell, a hell of Heaven.

> Two men looked out from prison bars, one saw the mud, the other saw the stars.

> One bad heard ever, two good heard never!

>For every ailment under the sun,
There is a remedy, or there is none,
If there be one, try to find it,
If there be none, never mind it.

> The Moving Finger writes: and, having writ,
Moves on: nor all your Piety nor Wit
Shall lure it back to cancel half a line,
Nor all your tears wash out a word it.

> Heat not a furnace for your foe so hot that it do singe yourself.

>Take benefit of five before five:
1) your youth before your old age,
2) your health before your sickness,
3) your wealth before your poverty,
4) your free-time before your preoccupation,
5) and your life before your death."

> Avoid the crowd. Do your own thinking independently. Be the chess player, not the chess piece

> Don't look down on anyone unless you are helping them up

> Do not sit idle, for indeed death is seeking you
