Not Even A Single American Matches her Qualifications,
Was Kidnapped along with her 3 children, By the FBI from Karachi, With Help of paki Government Alleging Connection with Al-Qaeeda,
Real crime of Dr. Aafia Siddiqui.
Although number of crimes have been committed by Sister Aafia under Ziniost And Bush law while residing in Amrerica but some of the serious nature are given below:
1.Wearing a headscarf.
2.Distrbuting pamphlets about glory of Islam.
3.Teaching the new converts to Islam how to read Holy Quran.
4.Regularly giving money to charity for well being of muslim.

and her most heinous crime is :

5.Collecting children shoes to be sent to Muslim children of Bosnian conflict in 1995.
Now She is in USA prison,
Having Lost Memory, Due to physical, Psychological & Sexual Torture,
She is Imprisoned with Men,
But We,

Asalaam aleakum,

Brother, there needs to be a correction on her education. She received a Ph.D from Brandies University and it was not honorary, it was authentic due to her dissertation. I just want to make sure the information we post is as accurate as possible. :)

Her educational credentials are of little or no importance when her current status is taken into consideration.

May Allaah have mercy on the muslims wherever they are, Ameen.

this really sickens me with the injustice done to Muslims on the sole basis of their practicing their deen and engaging in da'awah.

there is no such thing as freedom of speech anymore, as whoever undertakes da'awah is branded an extremist/terrorist/fundamentalist. our phone lines are tapped, our emails scanned and our steps followed, yet Allah's victory will come.

A sister(who was there) account

It was a long first day today subhanAllah.What I don't understand is why they even bring her to the court when she made it clear she DOES NOT want to be there.She does not want to be strip searched but Judge Berman keeps insisting that "she has a right" to be there in the court room.Then when she speaks out in court the judge and prosecutors get angry.She is forced to attend these court dates meaning she is forced to strip searches and on top of that they want to silence her?She won't stay silent mashAllah she does not fear the blame of the blamers.She said today "This isn't a fair court."Then the judge preceded to say that he was going to request the jury disregard Sister Aafia's outbursts.She asked the jury "Please don't ignore me for the sake of God."The prosecutors didn't even want her there at all because they said they were "scared" she'd keep disrupting and making them start all over.

She also made a reference to the recent article published about her not wanting Jewish lawyers.She said "Make the whole document public.Don't take bits and pieces.I am not anti-Semetic."

Sister Aafia's family would like to thank all of the supporters that attended today.This message was relayed to a group of supporters after the trial ended.MashAllah the court rooms were overflowing, I know for sure 2 rooms were packed.In the room I was in, I counted 15 brothers and 15 sisters.mashAllah i was so happy to see so many supporters.Let's keep it up for as long as the trial lasts!I don't like that Dabbs woman!Keep Aafia in your du'aas and don't forget her.

Dr. Aafia conveyed to the jury that both she and her children were abducted and tortured. She also pleaded that she was forced to copy documents under the threat of torture.

Judge Berman then threw Dr. Aafia out of court.

Federal Court doing everything possible to discourage public observation, Dr. Aafia's Supporters and even members of the media?

While constant rescheduling and unannounced room changes have become the norm for Dr. Aafia's pretrial hearings, strange procedures also marked the opening day of Dr. Aafia's trial. It began with the family of Dr. Aafia being told just hours before the original and posted starting time that the proceedings for the trial would begin an hour earlier!

The next peculiar happening was the treatment of out of town (U.S. Media) and foreign media (PAK). Apparently any members of the press were supposed to have obtained a special media pass during the pretrial hearings and jury selection in order to attend the hearing. The only problem was that this requirement was not known by the bulk of reporters whose offices are based outside of New York City or those who are reporting for Pakistani based media outlets.

Lastly, despite the limited seating available, empty chairs were either temporarily or never filled. Many reporters and especially Dr. Aafia's supporters were forced to observe the proceedings from overflow court rooms -- preventing the jury from seeing them -- on closed circuit television. An entire row of seats are reserved for federal interns. Dr. Aafia's family was limited to a total of 7 people including the family members -- whom they could select to go inside the court room.

While I agree with the sentiment I have to point out something. We are her supporters and should strive to make everything we say about her be as accurate as possible. When we are challenging others for her safety and freedom it makes us look ill-informed when we get even the "minor" details incorrect.

I have been following this case as it unfolds and want people to understand we are talking about a real person here, not some ideal. If we get basic information wrong then we look like we are trying to use propaganda rather than real facts to make people understand this situation. I hope I am making myself clear, I am not trying to tear apart her support system but rather make sure it is built on truth and a strong foundation.
