URGENT Need your help plzzzzzzz

Hope all of you are living with strong Iman and good health....
I need ur help... I mean my sister has to deliver a speech INSHA ALLAH on the 20th of June, on the topic "education in Islam and the present Muslim students"

basically she has to present it for the university students..... so as you know, you have to know what are the things which our Muslim youngsters are up to... while they are studying in universities or in any campus.... i mean you have to have a knowledge about both good and bad things which occur in universities....
so..... actually i want you all to help me to collect some points for the speech so that INSHA ALLAH we can help my sister to prepare for an attractive nice lecture INSHA ALLAH.............

plzzzzz help me soon as we have very less time to prepare

You see sister, depending where and which location that they are studying for instance surrounding do play an important part as who they hang around with it will more or less influence this party.So getting them understand Islam earlier is best as this will help and du'a from parent too is very important.
:ma:With high technology today will definately help Alhamdulillah!!!

wa'alaikumussalam warahmatullahi wabarakatuh

Actually I may not be the best person to give "advice" here. However, with the Will of Allah, I am going to mention my one-cent and you can take what is good and leave what is not, from it.

Since I am a College Student myself, I will try to mention some points which she may need to keep in mind while preparing for the speech.

1) The very first Ayah of Qur'an (Surah Iqra, Verse 1) is about acquiring knowledge with the name of Allah,

2) The Prophet (sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam) is the best teacher and the Sahabah are the best students the World has seen ever.

3) Excellent examples from the Salaf of the Ummah. The difficulty they faced, but the keen and trust in Allah they had, and how it made them the great Imams. (You may give an example like the one mentions (here.)

4) Give them information given in Quran and Sunnah about the protection given from Allah through Angels for the students from the time they start their first step for it everyday. ( I am sorry that I am not able to mention the Hadiths at this moment because I am in a hurry now. InshaAllah if thats needed, I will try to provide later).

5) The great status over all the other people in the sight of Allah. (Quran 21:7) and (39:9) and many more....

6) The main difficulties that are faced to the Muslim students and the importance of the patience. (Do not forget to mention the verses about the reward for patience here). Then mention how to prepare to tackle with them, according to the most beautiful manners thought by the Prophet and Sahaba.

7) Mention that the person must imply the knowledge whcih s/he gets in his/her educational process on his/herself, as soon as he/she gets it with evidence and confirms its truth.

8) Also you may mention that the Muslims always MUST be the example to all the people and that action speaks much much louder than the words.

9) Furthermore, inform then about the responsibility gets more, according to the amount of knowledge and level of status they are. As Allah has given them a high status, their responsibility will be higher too.

10) Warn them against the false knowledge and useless knowledge in their process of education and that they need to prevent from them.

11) Plus, advice them that we all should you our knowledge on a usefull purpose, and to do Jihad with it, as its a very important for of Jihad in this era.


Have to go now. Hope some of them over there will be useful for you and your sister. I am sorry for any typos or mistakes in it as I really have no more time even to recheck it.

well akhi ibnadam77 mentioned almost everything.

*however i'd say you add examples of the students from muslim history.their behaviour and conduct and love for knowledge........some from the imaams and some from the muslim scientists like jabir bin hayan,alberuni,khawarimi etc....

*also how education was the first thing man was to learn on earth.hadhrat Adam aleh salam had to learn the names of everything from angel jibrael on ALLAH orders,so like it is one of our formost obligations to ALLAH.

though nothing's organized,but Inshaa'Allah when I start preaching,Allah helps me to carry on...
Pray to Allah SWT and tell her to pray that Allah SWT makes everything easy...
