Cream Soda

Please could anyone help me!! :shymuslima1:

My mum bought cream soda and I love it a lot, it's made of 'natural flavours' but usually it would say on the packet that it contains alcohol but it doesn't.
I'm happy it doesn't say so but apparently they keep it hidden, it says:
A deliciously creamy vanilla-flavoured drink...

Please could anyone tell me if this contains alcohol.

Ingredients (no trace of alcohol but may help)
Carbonated Water, Natural Flavourings, Acidity Regulator (Sodium Gluconate), Lactic Acid, Sweeteners (Aspartame, Acesulfame K), Preservative (Potassium Sorbate), Stabiliser (Quillaia Extract).

Contains a source of phenylalanine. Contains Milk/Milk Derivative. No artificial flavours of colours.

Cream soda in the US is strictly a soft drink, like Pepsi or Coke. I'm pretty positive it's the same in the UK, judging from the ingredients you listed.

There's no nutritional value in soda pop, but it sure does taste good - I recommend paring your cream soda with little chocolate covered donuts, if they are available. :lol:

It would be better if you provide us with the company/brand name of the cream soda, sis Or if you want, why not just go to the company's website and email them directly and ask them if they have added any alcohol in it?

However, the ingredients you listed includes Aspartame - it is a dangerous chemical, and causes much harm. I wouldn't feel comfortable drinking this myself, which is why I really don't feel comfortable that you drink this deadly poison either - why don't you look for other brands of cream soda? I'm sure there are some that don't contain aspartame and don't contain alcohol.

Actually, what need to be asked is if the vanilla EXTRACT is pure or artificial....pure extract has alcohol as a preservative.

I'd like to see your information on it but right now, since it is one of the most studied and researched products <because of the controversy and hoaxes> at it's CURRENT consumption levels, it is safe. I am allergic to it though, which is rough since the chewing gum "Juicy Fruit" is now sweetened with it....makes finding good gum to chew hard to find! lol!
