Teddy Bears to Gaza

I am looking for teddy bears here... or people whose might be able to send teddys or any other toys to kids to Gaza.

They goes to kids whose lost all they toys during last war in Gaza (2008/2009) via next Turkish aid ship (Mavi Marmara, what leave at 31st of April) or by Free Gaza Movement.

I will send later contacts to Mavi Marmara or Free Gaza to this thread.

Send them some qurans and small books so they learn who their Lord is and the importance of worshipping Allah. The non Muslims send them bibles and we wANt to send them Teddy bears! May Allah guide this ummah on truth.

Kids in Gaza has Qurans already. Also many kids there suffer post war disorders. I have personally sended there some teddy for kids whose need something to hug at dark hours of night when they remember they relatives they saw dying in front of they eyes.

If anyone likes, I think via teddy bears IHH can carry also some Qurans too.

Keep me posted...this would be a great cause...Insha'Allah the children will receive the toys with love. Their life has been so hard already...

Aww, and you're right. If they have no one to hug them and comfort them, a teddy bear is good.

Studies have shown that a monkey will choose a soft monkey-like toy over a wire frame with a bottle of warm milk.

Qur'ans remind us that Allah (swt) is our creator and wants what is best for us, but there is nothing Sinful about wanting something to hold when you have nothing else....

What put me to action was story from my friend from Gaza when she was thinking war time:

When Al Aqsa Tv was demolished, our house was partly destroyed. My mum asked everyone of us to get our important stuff in one bag (like IDs, Birth certificates, some clothes, etc..) in case we had to leave the house. I remember myself standing still, gazing at my photo albums, fav books, dolls, clothes, my bed, my pinky room and all the stuff I do cherish. "How can I leave all this behind?!", I thought. It was hard for me to pick a few things that would be regarded as 'extra essential'.

I will send postal address as soon I get it - talked all day to Turkey with this issue. My friend there couldn´t contact needed person yet.

I have also other program but it is for doctors, nurses and first aid medical persons whose can work in ambulances and like to go to voluntary work to Gaza.

If you are kind of person or know someone who likes voluntary work in Gaza, contact me. I have suitable contact to kind of working who will help you to there.

Sweet idea mashaAllah but...

I know this may sound extreme, things with eyes such as images or teddy bears won't let angels in.
My whole house has an image of people everywhere, but I keep my room with things without eyes, it scares off angels apparently

Deadline to sending teddies is end of March. Need to get some time to contacts to send them and load them to ship.
