I am posting this thread to thank sister QueenIslam for her post on Black Seed Oil which she posted a few weeks back!

JAZAKALLAH KHAIRAN sister for your WONDERFUL post and let me set the record straight that black seed oil REALLY WORKS MIRACLES (with Allah's permission of course)!!!! Alhamdulillah!!!!!

I was sick in my lung for more than 7 or 8 months and saw more than 3 doctors who all prescribed various anti-biotics and other medications which NONE OF THEM WORKED!!! I began taking the black seed oil when sister QueenIslam posted about it a few weeks ago and at first it didnt seem to have worked at all but actually at the time I began taking it I was exposed to someone who had a terrible chest cold and coughed right on my food so I believe that I cought his cold and the black seed oil did actually work to make that cold disappear from me within a few days! The man I got the cold from in the first place was still suffering from that same cold at least 2 weeks after I had gotten rid of mine!!!!

I posted on the original thread thanking sister QueenIslam but said I didnt think it was really working! She advised me to continue taking it so I did and here it is today after just the 2nd week of taking the oil I havent coughed in at least 4 days now and I havent had to use my inhaler for almost a full week now!!!! Im back in Agadir so my darling husband is going to buy me more of the black seed oil because we are both convinced that it is the reason my health has improved so much!!!! My husband said after all the months of seeing doctors and buying medicine after more medicine he wishes we had known about this oil all along because it is much cheaper than any of the other medicine we had to buy!!!! He said it costs the equivilent of less than a dollar and a half!!!! WOW!!!!!

I really believe that Allah was putting me through some sort of test with this lung infection judging by the length and severity of it and alhamdulillah I must have passed the test because when it was over I happened to be on TTI that day and saw sister QueenIslam's post about the black seed oil and for some reason the title of the thread really cought my eye!!! Pure Virgin Black seed oil, amongst the purest black seed oil, this oil can cure anything by the will of Allah except death. Like every other natural product you need to be patient with it.

THE BLACK SEED

History of the Black Seed
For over two thousand years the black seed, a plant from the Ranunculaceae (buttercup) family, has been traditionally used by various cultures throughout the world as a natural remedy for several diseases and ailments and to improve health in general.

The ancient Egyptians knew and used the black seed and described it as a panacea (cure for problems and diseases). Tutankamun even had a bottle of the oil in his tomb!

The Romans also knew this seed and called it Greek Coriander and used it as a dietary supplement.

In the first century, the Greek physician Dioscoredes recorded that the black seed were taken to treat headaches, nasal congestion, toothache and intestinal worms.

The black seed is also mentioned in the Bible in Isiah 28:25-27 as the ‘fitches'. Ibn Senna, known in the West as Avicenna, who wrote the great medical treatise 'The Canon of Medicine', referred to the black seed as the seed ‘that stimulates the body's energy and helps recovery from fatigue'.

What is Nigella Sativa (the black seed)?
Nigella Sativa originates from Western Asia and is a herb that grows about 16-24 inches in height and has white flowers when in bloom. The plant is now cultivated from the Near East to India. The deep black, sharp-cornered rectangular seeds (no longer than 3 mm) are the part of the plant that is used for the preparation of products.

The black seed is cultivated in Russia, Turkey, Egypt, Arabia, Oman, Ethiopia, Middle East, Far East, India, Bangladesh, France, Germany and the Mediterranean Basin. It also grows wild in Egypt, Syria, Asiatic Turkey and the Balkan States.

Nigella Sativa is known commonly in Arabic as Habbat-ul-Baraka (blessed seed) and in English as Love in the Mist.

Research
Since 1959, over 200 studies have been carried out at international universities and articles published in various journals have shown remarkable results supporting its traditional uses.

The Nigella Sativa seed itself contains numerous esters of structurally unusual unsaturated fatty acids and the chemical composition is very rich and diverse. Apart from its active ingredient, crystalline nigellone, it contains 15 amino acids (including eight of the nine essential ones), carbohydrates, fatty acids including linolenic and oleic, volatile oils, alkaloids and dietary fibre, as well as minerals such as calcium, iron, sodium and potassium.

Recent research on the black seed as an anti-biotic, anti-tumour, anti-inflammatory, anti-histaminic, anti-bacterial, anti-bronchial and immune boosting agent has shown great promise.

Traditional uses of the Black Seed from around the world:
For centuries, the black seed and its oil has been used by people in Asia, Africa, the Middle and Far East to promote health and fight disease. It has been traditionally used to treat a variety of ailments and conditions related to respiratory health, stomach and intestinal complaints, kidney and liver function, circulatory and immune system support and to improve health in general.

Below are some traditional Black Seed remedies that are used around the world:

Asthma & Bronchial Problems (Far East, Middle East & Malay Peninsula)
Mix a teaspoon of Black Seed Oil in coffee. Taken twice daily. Also rub chest with Black Seed Oil every night and inhale the vapour of Black Seed Oil in hot water.

Backache & other kinds of rheumatism (Middle East & Malay Peninsula)
Mildly heat a small amount of Black Seed Oil and then stroke the rheumatic area intensely. A teaspoon of the oil should also be drunk three times daily.

Diabetes (India)
Mix a cup of whole Black Seeds, a cup of watercress or mustard seeds, half a cup of pomegranate peel, and half a cup of fumitory. Grind the mixture to powder. Take half a teaspoon of the mixture together with a teaspoon of Black Seed Oil daily before breakfast for one month.

Diarrhoea (India & Middle East)
Mix a teaspoon of Black Seed Oil with a cup of yoghurt. Drinking the mixture twice a day until symptoms disappear.

Dry Cough (Middle East & North Africa)
A teaspoon of Black Seed Oil should be mixed in coffee and taken twice a day. Rub the chest and back with Black Seed Oil.

Flu & Nasal Congestion (General)
Placing three to four drops of Black Seed Oil in each nostril can relieve nasal congestion and head cold distress.

Hair Greying (General)
Massaging the hair with Black Seed Oil regularly may prevent premature hair greying.

Hair Loss (India & Middle East)
Stroke the scalp thoroughly with lemon and leave for about 15 minutes, shampoo, wash and dry hair thoroughly. Then massage Black Seed Oil into the scalp. Drink a teaspoon of Black Seed Oil mixed in tea/coffee.

Hay Fever (Middle East)
One tablespoon of Black Seed Oil mixed with a glass of lemon should be taken twice daily until symptoms disappear.

Headaches (General)
Rub the forehead and the sides of the face near the ears with Black Seed Oil and bandage the head. Also a teaspoon of Black Seed Oil should be taken before breakfast.

Healthy Being (General)
To maintain good health take a teaspoon of Black Seed Oil mixed with one teaspoon of pure honey, twice daily.

Healthy Complexion (General)
Mix a tablespoon of Black Seed Oil with a tablespoon of olive oil. Rub the face with this mixture and leave it for at least one hour. Wash with soap and water.

Hypertension (India)
Mix any drink with a teaspoon of Black Seed Oil and also take two lobes of garlic every morning with breakfast. Rub all the body with Black Seed Oil and expose your body to sun rays for half an hour once every three days. Repeat for one month.

Laziness and Fatigue (Turkey)
One tablespoon of Black Seed Oil with a glass of pure orange juice every morning for at least 10 days.

Memory Improvement (Middle East)
A teaspoon of Black Seed Oil mixed in 100mg of boiled mint for at least 15 days.

Muscular pains (General)
Massage the area with Black Seed Oil.

Nervous Tension Stress (India)
A teaspoon of Black Seed Oil with a cup of tea/coffee to be taken three times daily.

Sleeping Disorder (General)
A tablespoon of Black Seed Oil mixed with honey in any hot drink in the evening.

Toothache & Gums (General)
First cook Black Seeds with vinegar. Add Black Seed Oil. Rinse the mouth with this formulation to help the gums and relieve toothache.

Ulcers (Indonesia & India)
Roast powdered Black Seeds over the fire. Mix them with oil of orrisroot, or the oil of henna plant, or the oil of camphire plant making an ointment that is then spread over the festering rural ulcers. After lavation treat with vinegar.


There's even black seed capsules, if people don't want to use the oil.

Sahih Muslim Bk 26, Number 5489:
Abu Huraira reported that he heard Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: Nigella seed is a remedy for every disease except death. This hadith has been narrated through another chain of transmitters but with a slight variation of wording.



Sahih Bukhari 7.591:
Narrated Khalid bin Sa`d: We went out and Ghalib bin Abjar was accompanying us. He fell ill on the way and when we arrived at Medina he was still sick. Ibn Abi 'Atiq came to visit him and said to us, "Treat him with black cumin. Take five or seven seeds and crush them (mix the powder with oil) and drop the resulting mixture into both nostrils, for `Aisha has narrated to me that she heard the Prophet saying, 'This black cumin is healing for all diseases except As−Sam.' Aisha said, 'What is As−Sam?' He said, 'Death."

7.592:
Narrated Abu Huraira: I heard Allah's Apostle saying, "There is healing in black cumin for all diseases except death."

i remember reading that thread about black seed oil.

how do you use the oil, do you take like a teaspoon once a day or did you wipe it on your body, how would i need to take it. i'd like to start taking it to help my illness.

i drink herbal tea, my husband always makes it, he puts heaps of things in it including black seed.

is black seed boiled in water okay to drink. like a herbal tea.

does the actual black seed make a difference too or is it usually only the oil of it?
please advise me. may allah reward you.

Oh wow almost everyone has responded to my thread except for the sister I wrote the thread for!!! :lol: I hope inshallah that sister QueenIslam gets her message here before it is covered up by more recent threads!

Anyway I would like to thank everyone for their comments to my thread and the well wishes and especially the help and advice from more knowledgable people than I am! Thank you for helping the brothers and sisters who needed information because all I could say is what I am sure of which is that the black seed oil really does work!

My husband found a store here in Agadir Morocco where his parents live. The store sells herbal medicine and things of that sort I think. He gets it already made into the oil and it comes in a small dark glass bottle. I use about 1/4 of a normal size teaspoon and I mix it into my cup of tea each morning. So just once a day. The small bottle lasted me about a week.

I have to say I am convinced it was the black seed oil which has cured my lung infection. It isnt fully gone yet but OMG it is 100 times better than it was before I started taking the oil just 2 weeks ago ALHAMDULILLAH!!!! Im not sure how it works or why it works but I am SURE that it WORKS!

To answer sister "WithAllahsPowers" question Im not sure if putting the seeds into boiling water works or not maybe another brother or sister here can answer you but I am POSITIVE that if you buy the black seed oil already made and you use just 1/4 teaspoon in your tea each day it will improve your condition inshallah! I am sure it is the reason my health is better!

I know one thing for sure..........I had this lung infection for more than 7 months because I first started coughing when I was still in the USA. I have been here in Morocco since August 3, 2010. I have seen so many doctors and taken so much medication I cant even begin to tell you and NOTHING worked at all! I felt so ashamed and hurt that my poor new husband was being burdened with this problem of mine and spending all of HIS hard earned money trying to help me yet nothing worked no matter how much we tried!!!

The entire time we were both praying so hard and I cried so many times because I felt bad for my bad attitude of getting angry every time I would cough!!! May Allah forgive me for my impatience!

Then one day about a month ago I finally decided to just GIVE UP! I mean give up fighting it! I decided that EVERYTHING is from Allah whether it is good or what seems to be bad to us at the time. I decided I would accept whatever Allah gives me! So many mornings when I would wake up coughing up a lung my poor husband would be worried out of his mind not knowing what he can do to help me. I would talk to him telling him to trust in Allah and that this is a test to show how strong is our iman! I told him its not just MY test but HIS test too and he MUST put all of his faith in Allah and rely upon him alone!!!

Maybe about 2 weeks after my last conversation to my husband he really calmed down and when I would cough so hard I would finish by saying "Alhamdulillah". As he saw my attitude about my illness improve he stopped worrying as much or at least not visably anyway!

I think it was about a week later when I came here to TTI and saw sister QueenIslam's post about the black seed oil. Something inside of me just KNEW that was my answer from Allah!!!! So my husband ran out and got it and I started taking it right away!!! Its 2 weeks later and my cough is virtually gone except in the morning when I first wake up but I have faith that if I keep taking the black seed oil its just a matter of time before it will be completely gone! Alhamdulillah!

The best thing about all of this is that now instead of seeing concern and deep worry in my husbands beautiful eyes I see peace! All of my trials and suffering was worth it just to see him smiling when he looks at me now! ALHAMDULILLAH!!!!! ALLAHU AKBAR!

on thursday i became really ill. i was unable to walk. im still having problems. this is a new thing associated with my illness. you know how hard it is to have 2 young kids and a husband and not be able to walk. well i was really really upset. i made myself that night i pray tahujjud salah, i made dua telling Allah im really sick, if he cant help me then who can. i asked him and begged him to help me find cure.

i actually was really upset, and crying. it was hard. then the next day i made dua seeking help. i rubbed olive oil on my legs and arms. i felt better saturday. but still i was upset i wanted to feel my legs again. i read your thread and felt exactly what you said today:

Something inside of me just KNEW that was my answer from Allah!!!!

i felt this too because it was thursday my illness got worse, friday i was so upset and saturday my answer arrived.

i want to try it and see how it goes. my husband ordered some black seed oil and it will be at my place by wednesday inshallah. i cant wait. i want to drink the whole bottle when i get it LOL.

all i want is to walk properly again and be able to use my hands. they are too weak in strength.

Oh WOW sis your post made me cry!!!! All praises are due to Allah and inshallah I pray the black seed oil will help you as it helped me!!! Ameen.

Allah works in this way and I truely believe that!!!! Funny story.......I asked my husband the other day "Do you think if I told people that I think Allah speaks to me through the internet they would think I was crazy?" I really expected him to say YES and dont ever tell anyone that!!!!! Instead what he told me has stuck with me because he touched my heart when he said "If the person you told that too is Mumin they would understand and not think you are crazy at all"! When he told me that it actually brought tears to my eyes because even though I asked him the question in a joking manner I was really very serious!!! I DO honestly believe that Allah sends me messages!!!! Not just by the internet necessarily but he does use the computer as well!!!

For example that thing with the black seed oil! I swear its true I had suffered and suffered until I finally submitted myself to the fact that it is Allah's will and the very next week I found that thread on the black seed oil and the feeling inside of me was indescribable but anyone who has ever felt the power of Allah sending them a message knows EXACTLY what that feeling is like! Its something deep inside that makes you completely POSITIVE that this exact thing you are looking at is the answer to all of your prayers! Alhamdulillah!

Oh sis Isra, your attitude and patience put me to shame. I wish I had your strength and courage to face hardship. I mean, what you said that you coughed so much, and then you said alhamdulillah - it makes me want to be like you! I've been battling so many health problems lately. I took some black seeds (I can't find the oil) with honey, but I couldn't really stand the taste much because I was chewing it, so I stopped after one week. But InshaAllah, I want to continue again. Drinking it in tea seems like a good idea.

:lol: Your post about Allah SWT using messages through the computer really cracked me up. But why not? It's true! He is able to reach us through any medium, be it through dreams or through what people around us say, or even the internet.
