Salam brothers and sisters
I am a practising Muslim along with my husband who is a new muslim Mashallah...I would like some help with Salah. I know the Fards of Salah but am unsure ho to perform sunnah/witr/nafl in the salah. Could someone please guide me.

Walaik us salam Sister,
Two rakas sunnah before Fajr,
Four rakas sunnah before Zuhar and two rakas sunnah after
Four rakas sunnah before Asr
Two rakas sunnah after Magrib'
Two rakas sunnah after Isha
This is according to the Hanafi school of thought

The two rakas of sunnah before Fajr used to be offered by the Prophet SAS regularly
Four rakas of sunnah are also offered before Isha
In Hanafi school there is lot of stress on offering two rakas before Fajr,four rakas before
Zuhar and two rakas each after Zuhar , Magrib and Isha a total of 12 non-obligatory rakas

I am so concern about you and
Since your husband is a new muslim i think it would be
better to register him along with you(if you like)
into Islamic class for good better guide.
you can do this at your Islamic religious council
near where you live.

also when praying 4 rakat sunnah you pray some quran after surah fatihah for all 4 rakats and nafl is usually prayed in 2s
