Ya Allah, I miss Makkah and Medina sooo much. Mashallah one of the things I loved most about our Holy Cities was their treatment of animals. I remembered seeing kittens napping peacefully in many of the masajid there while people would be praying. Even the birds would fly circles around us in the Haram and wouldn't be afraid to get close.

I think they're used to the majority of us being in ihram and so they know they've got free reign over us .

I remember once my mother also helped a cat drink water in Madeenah and it she just felt so happy. All those cats must be really healthy drinking Zamzam everyday.
