Creepy Shirk-Attack

Assalamu 'alaykum.

So, as everyone knows, today was the first day of Ramadan (Ramadan Mubarak everyone!) My sister and I were walking home today, and there was this really creepy woman and a guy standing right in front their house. It had like these weird statues and everything. So we walk by their driveway and the lady approaches us and tries to lure us into getting psychic readings, astagfirullah. It was soo creepy. But that's not the point.. It's just crazy how even though Shaytaan's locked up for a month, it shows that his influence still lasts (as in, people have been influenced by Shaytaan throughout the year).

And yeah.. This isn't necessarily a question, I just had to vent about this. :|

Do you live in a large city?

I live in a rural area, but yeah sometimes in a city like Atlanta there are weird people who want to read my palm or something for $1, lol.

Well, yeah pretty much. It's reeeaaalllly multicultural.

Lol, those people are so creepy. They're usually on the streets, but this woman, I think she tried to get us in her house or something. Stranger danger!! D:

It's Shark Week on Discovery Channel and I have sharks on the brain right now.

Yeah, after watching some of the programs on DC Sunday and yesterday, I don't think I'm going in the ocean ever again...

Haha I think National Geographic said you should go for the eyes when a shark approaches you. Like there's enough time to poke a shark in the eye amidst the anxiety and panic. Or you could just stay out of the ocean to be on the safe side... XD

Yes, you are supposed to poke them in the eyes or hit them hard on the nose to make them let go.

But the safest way to avoid sharks is to just not go into the water at all.

Talking about shirk some people who i know personally go to the daragah kind of thing but when i reject to go with them by saying its not allowed in quran and hadith they give me bad words on my face saying "Tera toh imaan galat hai"...

Yeah because you're ruining their fun. They always play the "messed up iman" card when they don't want to admit that you might be right.
