O'Reilly Factor: Is Fox's 24 Anti-Muslim?

"24" is a TV show where the US FBI agents are combating with terrorism and preventing it on in the US. The bad guy or "terrorist" is ALWAYS a Muslim who is out to destroy America and the agents always get to him before he can do something. This is a favorite TV of the Vice President of USA as well as many hardcore patriots and others of the like. The CIA and Bush approved tortures many security agents did on people in Gitmo were taken from this show.

In one of the shows, the Muslim "terrorist" succeeds in setting of a nuclear device in the US, leading to 7 million Muslim Americans being put into detention centers/camps, like they did with Japanese during WWII.

Is US Media preparing Americans for another government planned 911?!

Watch news clip to see how Anti-Muslim is it?

My parents watch this show. I have never gotten into it.

Sadly, I would say it is typical of US media propaganda. There is an underlying rhetoric of anti-Islam and pro-Zionist and most of us are too ignorant or lazy to read between the lines.

Geourge Bush owns Fox, not a joke. Check it out!

brother george bush doesn't own Fox, it is owned by the media mogul Rupert Murdoch and he is the guy who was in the headlines for The news of the world phone hacking scandal. and it is true Ruper Murdoch supports the republican and fox news actually helped george bush to win the election. there is also a movie about it i think called 'Recount'.

Yes,They Are.

Of course, Fox is real ant-Islam. Not only Fox News,BBC,CNN, and almost all the western and US medias are always agaist Islam and Muslims. And they make reports that propagate Muslims as evil-willed, so that they prevent their citizens from converting to Islam. Not knowing that they can never block the Light of Truth. That's I think it is good for Muslims to be indepent for any kind of information. Medias of Muslims should increase their waves distances and to add more Languages inorder to be putting people around the world right about Islam. May Allah protect us.

I don't even watch mainstream TV news outlets anymore, and I don't believe half of what I read online. All media outlets have their own political and social agenda that they push in their stories, and you have to be able to sort through the crap and filter out the lies to get to the real truth.

:salam2: The funny thing is is that it back fires, i read in recent years more people have been converting to islam because the media talks so much about it. Even in a bad light, it still makes people want to find out just what is in this religion thats all over the head lines.

Well that is how I came to it. I once hated Islam and feared it like any other Westerner. I actually started reading the Qur'an and studying Islam because I wanted to "know my enemy", and use their own book against them. Eventually I came to realize the truth.

I still feel bad sometimes when I think about the things that I used to say about Islam and Muslims. I have asked Allah for forgiveness for those things on more than one occasion.

:wasalam: dont let it make you feel bad, many of the companions of Muhhammad (pbuh) formally hated him, some wanted to kill him. Umar (ra) didnt want anything to do with Islam, untill he read the quran and found out what it was about.

I watch MSNBC because its a liberal news staion and I am a liberal. For non-Americans, liberal news stations & papers are generally PRO Islam.

MSNBC will also admit when it makes a mistake.

Subhan Allah.

Actually I did learn about Islam from the media (like the pure existence of Islam) and it peaked my curiosity. Upon reading more I learned the Qur'an was a guide to how we should live our life and Prophet Muhammad is the best role model for humanity.

However, I had never said negative things about Islam or Muslims.

You will be forgiven, we all make mistakes.

Well not long ago I found some old sound files on my computer and listened to them. On one of them I was very drunk one night and I said some really nasty things about Islam and Muslims. I debated deleting that file, but I have kept it, as a reminder of what I used to be and what I am trying not to be anymore.

As far as political views, I don't have much use for politics or politicians. I tend to be more libertarian if anything. Liberals are all socialists or Communists and conservatives are fascists as far as I'm concerned. :p

I walk the middle path, trying not to lean to either side too far.

:salam2: My mom is liberal and my step dad is conservitive, one day they asked me what political party im in. I just answered "independent" and was able to get out of the whole mess.

Muslims arnt liberals or conservitives, we just follow shariah law. Unfortunatly they dont have any "fatwah news" stations,
