I love your periodic table poster! And your rubix cube. And I want a banana from your desk. LOL.
I can tell you live in the UK, they have those long large heaters. Normally American houses/flats do not have those. We have small rectangular vents in the floor or ceiling.

I study chemistry so that poster is really helpful, I use it almost everyday lol and I binge-eat a lot of bananas (and blueberries) because they're super good brain foods and help me concentrate... I'd probably prefer the american heaters in the ceiling but these are ok I guess hehe OH and BTW I love to show off my rubix cube solving skills

When I was studying chemistry, i used some useful techniques to remember the periodic table. Inshallah develop your own techniques such that they will enable you to remember what you want to remember. One such technique is listed below
HOW TO REMEMBER SECOND ROW OF THE PERIOD TABLE:
Listen BBC News of friday night
Listen = Lithium (Li)
B = Beryllium (Be)
B = Boron (B)
C = Carbon
News = Nitrogen (N)
of = Oxygen (O)
Friday = Fluorine (F)
Night = Neon (Ne)

Sister do you live near a 2nd hand store or thrift shop? I got my desk from Goodwill for only $15 =D Insha'Allah you will get a desk =)
