Seeking Allah's Mercy

Qul HuwaAllahu Ahud!
please give info on the third clue. what was that question which made prophet salallaahu `alayhi wasallam happy?

Asalamo`Alaykum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Baaraakaatuh,

She asked her to say salam to him from her, not a question. Here:

"When I met the Prophet, peace be on him, I told him all about the arrangements that were made for the marriage and about my relationship with Abrahah. I told him she had become a Muslim and conveyed to him her greetings of peace. He was filled with joy at the news and said: 'Wa alayha as-salam wa rahmatullahi was barakatuhu (and on her be peace and the mercy and blessings of God).'"

Assalamu Alaikum,

I just recently learned of her story in Sunday School. Masha'Allah, what a pious muslimah. I especially admired that way she kept her faith before kinship at the time her father, Abu Sufyan, was an enemy of Islam.

Well, Guess I'll go next! Hope you don't mind Al-fajr.=)

1) He was the chief of a well know tribe.*

2)He followed the prophet :saw: to his home.**

3) Hif father and wife became Muslims at his hand.

*The tribe's name starts with D(If you say it properly, It actually starts with Ad-D..):]

** If I tell you why he did that, there's high chance you'll guess right away.. But let's just say that he followed the prophet whilst still being a non-believer. =)

Hope this isn't too easy!

I don't mind sister, thankyou for posting, I have very little time for this which is unfortunate.

And it always seems easy to the one who is posting the clues =)

At-Tufayl ibn Amr Ad-Dawsi

Cheif Of the tribe Daws. A poet; Known for his good works and virtues.

When he visited Makkah, he was careful not to listen to any of the verses, but then decided to listen to some and was attracted to it so then he followed RasoolAllah sallAllaahu alayhi wasallam to his home. Embraced islaam after RasoolAllah pbuh recited to him Surat Al-Ikhlaas and Al-Falaq.

His father and his wife accepted Islaam at his hand.

He perfectly matches all the clues you have given but his name starts with 'T' (At-Tufayl..). Is he the sahaabi you have in mind?

^ assalaamu alaykkum, My BAD!!! I thought i saw you were talking about beginning of his name. Sorry.

My set of clues:
1) When the news of prophet salAllahu alayhi wa sallam, he sent his brother to makkah to inquire about him

2) Later he himself went to makkah to see the prophet pbuh, but exercised great caution so as not to earn the wrath of the Quraish. `Ali saw this stranger in the sacred masjid and invited him to say in his house for the night. (eventually he spent three nights in `Ali's house before asking about prophet due to his fear of Quraysh).

3) His tribe is known for raiding the caravans that pass by them.

Wa`alaikum salaam warahmatullaah! It's alright akhy, no worries!=)

He's Jundub ibn Junaadah(Abu dharr Al-Ghafaari). He's from the tribe Ghifaar. As soon as news of a prophet reached him, he sent his brother Anis to find out more about him. Wasn't satisfied with Anis's answer so he went out himself to find out more...

Right?=)

2) Related to Makhramah ibn Nawfal through marriage

3) Was married to the sister of Abdirrahmaan bin `awf

His story is quite entertaining...=) May Allaah be pleased with him.

Yeah, cool is the word for him(May Allaah be pleased with him).

Okay, here goes. . .

1) The Prophet:saw: presented her with a something really special after she died.

2)She was exceptionally fond of her son, who resembled the Prophet:saw: migrated to Abysiniah and was later martyred in Mu`tah.

3) She used to sit the Prophet:saw: with her children at meal times, because the food would be sufficient and plentiful when he:saw: ate with them.

This clue really stumps me ..how can it be presented to her after she passed away? Or was she informed of something that she would recieve after she died? RadiAllaahu anha.

I hope to revive this thread this Ramadaan, I have been really busy prior to now but I miss this game.

So this game still exists? I have forgotten all about it. hmm nice idea. Hope it'll work Inshaa`Allaah.

I suppose I'll wait for three days, if no one answers. I'll give the answer. Remind me in case I forget.

And yes the Prophet:saw: gave her something real special "after" she died.

My train of thought:

The battle of Mu'tah has 3 famous shuhadaah, Zaid ibn Haarithah (r), Ja'far ibn Abi Taalib (r) and `Abdullaah ibn Rawaahah (r).

The mother of one of these three ..
