Wa `alaykum salaam wa rahmatullaah

I am sorry if this sounds rude, but I wish people do not give their 'honest opinions' in terms of Islam related things without any knowledge. Just like how one would not advise an ill-person without knowledge of medicine, similarly one should refrain from advising or teaching people about the religion of Allaah, which is far superior than any other knowledge. This is the knowledge of the religion of Allaah, sent by Allaah from above the seven heavens! And we dare to give our 'honest opinions' about such a heavy matter. The ummah will be in a much better positions if muslims learned to remain silent.

If you want to share any islamic knowledge: either share the words of Allaah, the sunnah of the Messenger of Allaah :saw2:, or the words of the scholars of Islaam.

With regards to the questions of the sister:

1) There is a consensus amongst the scholars that all the obligations will be waived off in Jannah as Jannah is a place of reward and it is the abode of bliss and not the abode of responsibilities. What we know is that the people of Jannah will praise Allaah etc. This is according to the narration reported by Imaam Muslim in his Saheeh from Jaabir ibn ‘Abd-Allaah (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “The people of Paradise will eat and drink therein, but they will not blow their noses or defecate or urinate. Their food there will turn into burps and sweat like musk. They will be caused to recite tasbeeh and praise, as they are caused to breathe.” According to another report: “tasbeeh and praise as you are caused to breathe i.e., their tasbeeh and praise will be (second nature) like breathing.

2) There is an indication about the women of Jannah having a sort of cloth on their heads in Jannah, and the details of it has been discussed by scholars. Check below (but it is important to note that Jannah is a place of enjoyment and bliss and not responsibilities or hardships):

With regard to wearing the khimaar or head cover, we have not come across any report which speaks of that in detail, rather there is a reference to it in a hadeeth narrated by Anas ibn Maalik (may Allaah be pleased with him) who said: I heard the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) say: “To go out and come back (in jihad) for the sake of Allaah is better than this world and everything in it. The space of the bow of one of you in Paradise or the space of his whip is better than this world and everything in it. If a woman from among the people of Paradise were to look out over the people of this world, everything between them would be illuminated and filled with fragrance, and her kerchief on her head is better than this world and everything in it.” Narrated by al-Bukhaari (hadeeth no. 2796).

Abu ‘Ubayd al-Qaasim ibn Salaam (may Allaah have mercy on him) said:

Kerchief means the khimar (head cover). End quote.

Ghareeb al-Hadeeth (1/166).

But that is not sufficient to be certain that the women of Paradise will be obliged to cover their heads, for three reasons:

1.

Some scholars interpret the word naseef (translated above as kerchief) as referring to the band that a woman wraps around her head, which does not cover the head, rather women wear it for adornment.

2.

The context of the hadeeth does not reflect that meaning, because what is meant in the hadeeth is to emphasise the extreme beauty of the womenfolk of the people of Paradise and the hoor al-‘iyn, such that the smallest thing worn by them is better than this world and everything in it. The focus is not the kerchief itself. There is another report in which it says: “and her crown on her head…”

3.

Moreover this casual mention of the kerchief does not mean that all the women wear it or at all times and in all places, and in front of all people. To understand it in such general terms requires special evidence, which we cannot find.

Al-Haafiz Ibn Hajar (may Allaah have mercy on him) said:

The words “her kerchief” in the hadeeth are understood to refer to the khimaar. This interpretation comes from Qutaybah and was narrated by al-Ismaa’eeli in another isnaad from Ismaa’eel ibn Ja’far.

In the report of al-Tabaraani it says, “her crown on her head.”

Abu ‘Ubayd al-Harawi narrated that the naseef (kerchief) is the wrapper that a woman wears on her head.

Al-Azhari said: It is like the band that a woman wraps around her head. End quote.

Fath al-Baari (11/442).

3) If they worshipped Allaah alone and make it to Jannah- then yes in shaa'Allaah. There are many proofs like the ayah in [soorah al-Inshiqaaq: 9]

وَيَنقَلِبُ إِلَى أَهْلِهِ مَسْرُوراً
"And will return to his family Masrur!"

The word 'Ahl' here refers to the believes from his own family, relatives, closed ones from the dunya and the believers in Jannah.

4) Yes, the people of Jannah will see and even talk to the people of hell-fire. Check the following ayaat from Soorah Al-Saaffaat, verses 55-59:

So he looked down and saw him in the midst of the Fire. He said: "By Allah! You have nearly ruined me. Had it not been for the grace of my Lord, I would certainly have been among those brought forth (to Hell).'' (The dwellers of Paradise will say!) "Are we then not to die (any more) Except our first death, and we shall not be punished''

For the last question, I wanted to add an ayah I couldn't find, about how the people of Jannaah will look down at those in Hell and the Dwellers of Jahanum will ask them to throw some water. Somthing along these lines.

Wasalamo`Alaykum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Baraakaatuh.

It's in Soorah al-A`raaf:50

"And the dwellers of the Fire will call to the dwellers of Paradise: "Pour on us some water or anything that Allah has provided you with." They will say: "Both Allah has forbidden to the disbelievers."
