Sahih International translation (just posting for a bit clearer translation):

Indeed, Allah confers blessing upon the Prophet, and His angels [ask Him to do so]. O you who have believed, ask [ Allah to confer] blessing upon him and ask [ Allah to grant him] peace.

Now instead of posting a lengthy tafseer if we can define this in one line, it is basically Referring to Durood Sherief.

Innovating something into this perfect deen can no way be considered as a way of loving prophet (pbuh) or Asking Allah (swt) to confer his blessing on him.

Narrated Aisha:
Allah's Apostle said, "If somebody innovates something which is not in harmony with the principles of our religion, that thing is rejected." [Saheeh Bukhari 3:49: 861]

byu RahmatuLlah....he strive hard very hard(and Allah knows Best)to this verse was revealed plus many more reasons.

Now look at us....Sweden problem...the matter melted as an ice and that increased the power of those against Islam and Muhammad.

I do not see a use in "Mawlid". Sending blessings upon the prophet :saw2: must be done as per the authentic adhkaar reported from the Saheeh hadeeths. This - Mawlid Barzanji - was not done by any of the companions of the Prophet :saw2: and the best three generations. We are not better than them and cannot be better than them.

Even after the death of the Prophet :saw2:, Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman and Ali, they never did anything like this. The Prophet :saw2: has always warned in exaggerating him and this mawlid is one of those exaggerations and innovation.

In fact, doing something that they didn't do in the religion, is corrupting the religion.

Exactly. And Every Bidah is misguidance and every misguidance leads to hell-fire. Those were the words of the Prophet :saw2: . If you love Prophet :saw2:, then love his Sunnah.

Gain knowledge about the Sunnah, love it, and apply it in your life. I can't think of any greater way of loving the Prophet :saw2: other than following his guidance.

Brother "abjad", forgive me for getting involve with this topic. Are you still having doubt? The Companions did not celebrate the way it being celebrated today. I can't find any reason to celebrate when the 4 Imams did not celebrate as well. If you really love the Prophet, do salawat as many times as you wish as per the verse Q33:56 encourage us to do so and follow His Sunnah.
