Islamic Baby Names

Assalamualaikum brothers and sisters!

Can anyone please help me out with this?

Is it permissible to put Abdul before a name that is not Allah's name? Like if we want to keep a name as Abdul Ahyan. I know Abdul means servant and Ahyan means Gift of God. I just wanted to know if Abdul can be put before this name?

Another question is that, is it permissible to put the name Muhammad after a name? Like Ahyan Muhammad? I heard that we have to put it before.

Looking forward to some help here, JazakAllahu khair in advance! :)

From my modest knowledge, i believe its haram if I weigh ur question with that that asks if one can name "abdel masih" for example.

A question i have is if its permissible for a father to name his son after himself.

Ahyan by itself sounds nice. So why not keep it by itself? But yeah Abdul, has to be followed by one of Allah's names and not anyone or anything else. Abd, means slave. So it's not islamically correct to name someone Slave of (??) and not slave of Allah.

Yes sis we like Ahyan a lot, but we wanted to add his fathers' name as his father's name is Abdul Wadud.
Sis could you tell me if it's permissible to put Muhammad after a name? We would go with that then...
JazakAllahu khair for your answer sis :)

I have no idea with that sis, but I have seen a lot of people are named after their father name.
